Why would you choose such a shitty job for such shitty pay

I have $0 in my paypal right now. I'm planning on completing the first interview clip, the longest one, which is two hours... and sending him it, saying "I have this much completed, but for the other three hours, I'm going to need either an extended deadline or a pay increase. I'm sorry. I just wasn't expecting this sort of interview."

I'm hoping he'll give me like ten dollars and then fire me, getting someone else to do the rest. He seems nice enough to give me that little amount. I might say "a nigga's gotta eat, man, please... I have kids"

It seemed like an easy job to me. I intentionally searched for transcription jobs. And like I said, I chose the low pay because there were other applicants... like, 40 other people wanting the job for $50.

I think I could say that I have the two hours, which I (really hope) I will, but I'll only give it to them for ten dollars. I don't think they'd turn that down, because it's a large amount of the work for chump change. Then they could put out the job offer again but change the hours and pay. It won't be too hard on them, but still pretty hard on me.

Worst case scenario, I can cut my losses and never show my face on that site again, but I'd feel bad for slightly fucking the magazine over.

Okay fuck that transcription thing. I saw a job offering $10 for transcribing one minute and thirty seconds of audio, much clearer audio, and I fukken lost it. I transcribed another minute to get to 20, and made my very shameful request to the guy for five dollars. God damn I suck. I hope I get five dollars, though. Either that or he just fires me. Whatever, I don't see how you'd incorporate walls of that mundane shit into a magazine anyway. It wasn't even an interview, more like a photoshoot while the guy blabbered.
