I could never really appreciate those threads hewitt, since i was never on FA but at the same time had just joined SP

Well fellars, lemme tell y'all sumtin... In ma day, we used to shuck em newbies up reel gud. You boys don't have none balls anymore, shuck em up.

I got out when my post count was reset to thousand after the merge (although the real reason was that my password was also reset and my username was changed back to the old Nish.Niruthan and I couldn't be bothered keeping track of these things). Then some good soul (Chronos? Fusion? I don't know) pointed out that I had 4000 posts and brought it up again. Finally I decided to come back a few days ago. I do miss some of the old activities, but this can still be fun.

Zed, organize another epic video party like the one we had almost a year ago. That truly brought back a spark.

Exilement, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't one of the complaints BEFORE the merge that fact that there weren't enough new, productive members?

I have no idea. I wasn't around much before the merge, because the forums sucked and I chose to spend my time doing other things.

Yeah. I mean, I did have complaints about the transition, and how the mods dealt with the new rules, but considering one of those rules has been recently revoked and I wound up as a mod I think my complaints were fairly legitimate.

Most of the whining boils down to "durrr people like the RHG but I don't like it so those people are stupid and RHG is stupid, fuck stick figures". Which makes me wonder why the fuck they're on an animation forum in the first place. I don't animate much either, but I'd feel like an asshole going to, say, a homebrewing forum just to complain about how much I hate beer. You're the out-of-place, antagonistic piece of shit, not the people using the forum for its intended purpose.

Very true, at one point it was almost like you were a noob doing something wrong if you were still animating.
