Honestly, not that any of this is your business, the assumption that the discussion was only between new members is completely false. Most of the active staff are SP members that frequently challenge questionable rules and infractions, these same members were part of the discussion that resulted in 2-D's ban. It wasn't done on a whim out of spite, it was a measured look at his history and forseeable future that took place over a week. If you guys would stop jerking each other off and hop off your anti-FA pro-anarchy bandwagon you'd realize 2-Ds ban was a long time coming. Having a high post count or a known assholeish attitude doesn't grant you immunity from the rules and the people enforcing them.

Well yeah, he had like nine infractions or some shit. It's the fact that you banned him on opinion. I reviewed all his posts from today and couldn't see one that really warrants banning.
It would've made MUCH more sense to tell him that he's walking on thin ice and that if he fucks up that he'll get banned. "But that would involve actually following infraction criteria which makes too much sense apparently." It'd be punishing him when he actually is braking the rules, instead of this sudden drop on him out of the sky.
He actually seemed legitimately surprised that you guys banned him. Because he hadn't really been much of a douche today "lol in comparison to his bad days."

And "Out of spite", well seeing as how your grounds for banning him is basically "he's a stupid meany head" I have a hard time believing you. Considering all of his infractions are like for single word posts.

Aside from you having an imaginary conversation with me with yourself, you're still missing key points. 2-D's behavior has been being watched by both Stone and I for a long time, this shouldn't come as a surprise. He's been getting warnings and shit about it for months, not to mention he admitted himself to baiting and being an asshole on purpose, so it's very clear he knows exactly what he's doing. But, despite that, we've both been incredibly forgiving and lenient with him especially considering other members on this site. After a recent string of problems involving 2-D, the questions was raised behind closed doors what we should do about it. 2-D knows fully that he was on thin ice, to say this isn't fair because it wasn't expected is a fallacy.

I'm up right now because I stepped on my sloppy girlfriend's full can of coke in the dark and it cut my foot up when it exploded, so I have nothing better to do.
