I would usually have about 2-3 songs from one band while I have the whole album from another. For example : I only have about 2 songs from Of Monsters and Men while I have the whole Beacon album from Two Door Cinema Club. xD

Lol I have the opposite problem. I discover an artist and when I show it to someone else, everyone is like "Who's that I don't like it" (obviously because he doesn't know about the artist). Then the next week that same song apoears in a commercial, and everyone is like "OMG wat a guud songgg".

I usually don't bother to listen to "one hit wonder" bands that only have like 1-3 good songs. I'd much rather just put on an album than have custom playlists that I have to micromanage every time I get bored of a song. I usually listen to a couple of new artists or bands that I'v found recently, and then I have some old favorite albums that I listen to from various different genres to change it up if I get bored of the new ones that I'm in to at the moment.
Casuals.

To me, I don't have a favourite genre. Or a favourite band.
I look through band after band until I find a song I like. Then I stick it in my library. Then I keep looking through different bands.

The way how I find my music is Last.fm ; just listen to my favourite radio and when I listen to a good song, I "Love" it, and when I'm done listening to the radio, I look through my "Love" list and download them onto my library and phone.
This is how I found about 85% of the songs in my phone. lol

I usually hear one song that I like, then I either download their whole discography or at least an album or two only to find out the band mostly sucks.

I do that too, but I find there are some songs which become better if you listen to them enough.
I'm going to put an end-quote tag ( [/QUOTE] ) here to mess up anyone who feels like replying to me.
Of course some songs are just shit.

E.G. : Today's songs. The melody and all are fine, but the lyrics are getting more hoarse and not really safe for kids since they are now having a shit ton of swear words unlike previous times. :I

That's pretty true, thinking about it I didn't even like psychedelic music a year ago now that genre covers a huge portion of my music library.

You obviously haven't spent much time searching for music, you don't have to step far out of the mainstream to find great shit.

Quote from ZedLook for Cantor's transfinite arithmetic. It's great fun. If you use ordinal infinite numbers ω+3 is different to 3+ω.

Wha- You're kidding, right? Since when does music have to be "safe for kids"? I'd prefer there to be more profanity in mainstream media actually, that'd be better than the sugarcoated shallow garbage that we get right now.Quote from YunE.G. : Today's songs. Oh, you're not. Try to dig a little deeper please.
The music that gets played from most radio stations is horrid and meaningless dribble about getting drunk and partying, or alternatively superficial love songs. All overproduced as hell, of course.
