The following things would effect how much the tooth is worth:
*Size
*How healthy it is
*Is it a human/animal tooth

But i would prefer if bronze/silver/gold coins were used instead...
100bronze=1silver
100silver=1gold
10000bronze=1gold

I think this is a good idea Captain Cook, teeth would be hard to steal, and if they would have some value they could be a good source for emergency money.

Being used at currency sounds like slavery to me. I mean, the slaves wont be spend immediately and could be used for all kinds of works.
I think in the medieval times slaves were actually sometimes used as currency. (trade market).
Even in america a few centuries ago, slaves were used as trade currency.

I'm sorry, but if we did go that route:

Type 0 would be worth the most,
I'm not sure where A and B fall in regards to each other but they'd be in the middle,
And AB would be the cheapest.

DOUBLE EDIT: I think animals/eggs would be the way to go. They'd grow to be a food source, which is valuable.
