^^ Its posts like these that make me want to leave the general discussion section entirely....

Because it's so shameful to greet someone in a discussion.
EDIT: Fuck your bottom with a chicken bone sideways. I think I might be too polite for this forum.

You think you're too polite. Imagine how I feel, lol.

I seriously doubt I've ever shown any form of anger or contempt towards anyone on this forum since the start of the merge.

Nothin' wrong with that though.

Except for one time when there was an "art thread" about me... I overreacted a little bit >_>

I was angry tho.

Just a quick Google search can show you just how many creative thinkers have used drug without it actually showing.
Did you know Sigmund Freud, better known as the father of psychoanalysis, did cocaine?
Or that Richard Feynman tried LSD, marijuana and ketamine?
And those are just scientists, there is an even bigger number of artists out there.

Did you even read what I posted? Just because creative people take drugs doesn't mean their work is a direct result of them. Most of them could still do what they do without the drugs. Reread the quote again and maybe it'll make sense. Also about the war on drugs, I never said I'm anti drugs, and I understand how pointless it is to try and control a substance like weed when alcohol and tobacco are legal. I don't really know why you decided to lecture me on that point, but it doesn't really matter. I was pointing out that the connection with drugs to creativity isn't a fair one to make. Creative people may run a higher risk of getting addicted to substances, but the substances don't necessarily make them creative.

I think it's time we've moved away from this topic.

it's silly to say that there's no possibility of a connection between creativity and drugs whatsoever. IME especially weed and psychedelics (and absinthe!) can really get you in to the mood and mindset to create something. i agree that this will not necessarily always be the case, but it definitely happens.

will you anti-conversation nazis fuck off already

i'm sorry if actual discussions in the chat thread don't meet your expectations, but i'm pretty sure most of the people with a rational thought trail can realize that this is better than people coming in to this thread and posting about their day and not even getting a response because nobody gives a single fuck

You know scarecrow generally I'm against people using drugs in more of a leisure way because it's something to do but actually enjoy reading your posts about the things that happen while enduced. I believe you said somewhere or another about a medical reason as to why and that you're pursuing studies while trying to find the connection between mind and body and what not so I don't include you in my generalization. You're one in a whole hell of a lot lol

I agree it could be linked in some cases. I just wanted to point out that that's not always true though. I'm glad you understood :D
