You play PS3? I was considering getting one, but Sony is already planning to make a PS4. However, I'm worried that the PS4 isn't going be that good. Hell, I think the video game industry on consoles is running out of ideas. That's why I prefer PC.

I only play Nintendo games now. They're really the only ones I find fun anymore.

Even though Hewitt was pissed Hidro wasn't exactly trying to hide what he did, he wasn't a scumbag that would just attempt to run away from responsibility. He is a cool guy and regrets what he did dearly. Hewitt has also stopped being batshit crazy about this and he didn't really mean all of those things that he said. He hopes Hidro realizes that.
Stop speculating, everything that happened is well known and the staff has the full story. It is not our responsibility to create the consequences and we have been told pretty much everything we need to know, at least for the time being. The situation is being dealt with don't fucking worry about it.

Honestly, I don't give a shit about the name. It has nothing to do with its performance. That being said, the system is very lacking. What pisses me off the most is that they seem to be moving away from their key demographic, gamers. These features relating to television isn't what you would demand in a gaming console. They are not necessary at all. While having them would be cool, I would rather let go of these features for a more powerful machine and with more gaming related features.

Also it is not backwards compatible which is stupid as fuck.

You certainly are helping by restarting this discussion with something that has already been said. And at what point was anyone "personally mad" at Hidro. He did the right thing and tried to make up for his mistakes and took responsibility.

My post was about Mikematic being a naive dick, where he first makes a joke at someone else's expense, and then fails to apologize but instead defends the person who caused this calamity with an ignorant point he learnt from kindergarten.

they're not trying to make a gaming console, it's a modern entertainment system that attempts to utilize and integrate all of the technology currently available. Microsoft would be shooting themselves in the foot if they didn't attempt to do that.

it'd probably be best to wait until it's actually released before getting pissed off at these additional functions for getting in the way of gaming. there's no way of knowing that yet. if you want a dedicated gaming machine then PCs have always been the best choice.

Oh my gosh that is the worst
My biggest problem with the PS3 when I played it is that it was only 'halfway' backwards compatible. A seemingly random set of games would do very strange things like lagging to unplayability on the PS3, when they ran fine on their original systems. But then some other games would run fine.
