well then it's a good thing I don't purchase things based on whether or not you like them

it's not worth $400 either way. I just think it looks cool.

It would look rather nice at night time with the LEDs from the various components in the case. Especially with case fans that have LEDs.

Cable management might be hard.

it's a dell studio xps 8100 with an upgraded power supply and a GTX670. I'm at work so I don't have the specs offhand, feel free to look them up yourself.

I *think* the i7 is a 2800k. somewhere around there. but I'm not very knowledgeable with processors.

Hey, yeah speaking of computers, why is it every time I attempt to use the system requirements lab tool to see if I can run a game, it crashes? I don't think it has too do with my laptop being not powerful.
Core i5 2.4 Ghz
4 Gigs RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
Intel HD Shared Graphics.

It works pretty fine for nearly everything, but definitely won't run crysis.
1300 is pretty expensive. It's a pc right? Macs would never go below 1700 <_<

No it's a laptop, a dell I believe. I7 processor, 8 gig memory, 1 terabyte storage, and an nvidia 660 graphics card.

It's going to be difficult for you to run almost any modern game with intel integrated graphics. You can probably get a cheap dedicated card for around $100 if your motherboard supports it.

My current laptop is the Dell XPS M1530. Got it in like 2008.

The PC I am making will be:

i5 3570k (4.5ghz OC)
ASUS GTX 780
ASROCK Z77 EXTREME4 motherboard
8 GB RAM
H100i CPU water cooler
700W power supply
1TB HDD (thinking about getting a 120gb ssd to use as a boot drive)

How much did that beast cost? (if you got it in parts, approximately)

i5 3570k (4.5ghz OC) ($240) (maybe like $200 for Americans)
ASUS GTX 780 ($730) ($660 for Americans)
ASROCK Z77 EXTREME4 motherboard ($130) (maybe like $110 for Americans)
8 GB RAM ($80) ($50 for Americans)
H100i CPU water cooler ($130) ($100 for Americans)
700W power supply ($120) ($100 for Americans)
1TB HDD (thinking about getting a 120gb ssd to use as a boot drive) ($60) (maybe like $50 for Americans)

Also there's the case, OS, keyboard/mouse, optical drive and fans ($300)

So that's like $1800

Monitor: BenQ XL2420T (120hz 24") (I hate playing on larger screens with lower pixel density) ($350)
