When you edit your post there's a delete button. Click that, then something else will show. Click Delete this and then the confirm/delete button under it.

Not what I mean. If a thread has been unusually inactive for about a day, and if you are the last post, you can delete the last post and re-enter it. It allows you to stealthily bump it back to the top, and it's not TECHNICALLY double posting.

The mods will still see what you did. If Hewitt sees it or some other mod like him you'll still probably get infracted. You've also revealed the trick on here. Good luck doing it now.

But it isn't breaking rules. Bumping is usually defined as posted on a thread that has been inactive for a week or more. It's not double posting or bumping if you do it within 3 days of inactivity - it's basically just moving up the list.

But your still technically double posting because the mods still see the double post.
