The Bible states that everyone has sinned or is a sinner, Sin is basically a constant, but in Christianity, Sin is not what keeps you from heaven, lack of faith in God(Which involves asking for forgiveness of sin) does.

So you are saying that being gay is not adultery, but acting based on those needs as a homosexual is?
I don't really see how that is any better then the whole thing being classified as adultery, either way the individual is forced to oppress his very nature and opinions to serve a cruel and selfish entity that has been unable to deliver proof of its existence.

First off: How does your example show a 'higher power' within scientific beliefs?
Second: We have a lot more then five senses, and science has successfully built things that can act as extra-senses, a Geiger counter would be one such example. While we are forced to proceed data through our senses, gathering it is a completely different story.

@Gunni: I simply stated that you believe that my God sees homosexuality as an abomination, this is your subjective interpretation, not an objective fact. I'm not doubting Science, i'm just pointing out how something so empirical can still have limits. Uncertainty principle is a perfect example of this.
