True. I've seen your porn collection and if you'd actually tried any of that we'd both be dead.

This is why I tell you to stop buying those tentacle erotica comics.

I might be around at Christmas. What are you coming here for anyway?

Girlfriend got denied her student visa, so she cant come back for 6 months. So I'm gunna skip spring semester next year and go chill over there for 3-6 months and we can figure out a next move.

I honestly think delaying a whole semester for something like, "chilling out with your girlfriend" is not a smart move. I mean, maybe it can be understandable, but, "... and we'll figure out our next move" makes me think you have to rethink your decision.

but you know what, I lack life experience anyway so my opinion on this shouldn't be considered lol. I don't even know your situation enough.

Have fun with your girlfriend! I imagine you really like her considering you would do all that just to hang out with her.

I mean, skipping one semester isn't that much of a big deal. Especially since it's his life so he probably knows what's best for him. Also, distance learning classes are always cool too.

Anyone ever play fight night champion?
It's a great game and it's a lot of fun, but starting out when you create your own boxer you hit like a fucking fairy.
260 pounds of ripped muscle and after 100 punches plus to my opponents face he shows literally no signs of any damage what so ever.
It's pretty infuriating, as it seems the computer controlled boxers can knock you the fuck out easily, even when your stamina bar is mostly full.

But his profile picture makes him look like a prick too, so I'm not hopeful. It's in black and white for fuck's sake.

My facebook profile pictures is black and white.

Same old Matt. Ashlander is like Caine from Kung-Fu, he just goes where life takes him.

Yes I am ranked number 1 in Australia and around about 28 in the world (xbox360 leaderboards). Record is about 1250 - 110.

I only play offline these days though, since:

1. I don't want to pay for live.
2. I am always fighting Americans, which is laggy since I am in Australia
3. My console is slowly dying, and for some reason boxer movement with the left analog stick started lagging by half a second or so.

You know what, I'm not going to question you even remotely.
Instead I'll just roll with it.

So what do you recommend for my problem? I've tried the majority of styles I've used in the other fight night games.
So far I've only seen good results out of a boxer that is designed purely to lose the early rounds, guarding himself and attacking the enemies body. Then later on in the rounds knock em out with ease. It's proven to be a bit of a gamble.

I don't play OWC much, but some pointers:

In FNC, the most overpowered punches are straights and uppercuts. Make sure you put points into the punches you use the most. Most people invest a lot of points into block/chin and then focus on the punches they use the most. Speed/combos are another good stat to have if you don't just throw single punches the whole time. Your boxer is always going to suck at first. That's a given. Gotta invest those points.

As for actually fighting:

The first trick is defense. You can dominate any fight just by making them miss and eventually tire. You should be refreshing your block right before they punch. COMs are easy to time. They are a linear rhythm that barely changes.

Head movement while defending is also a great way to avoid punches (move your head back when they uppercut ect) and get easy counters. Eventually you will get good enough to use head movement without blocking, which makes it really easy to get counters. Hard to use online if there is lag though. Especially because real people aren't as predictable as COMs.

The most exploited tactic in FNC is the sidestep. Try sidestep-right uppercut or backstep-straight. Both work a charm.

Always go body/head/body. Never just attack 1 region. Alternating high/low allows you to break their guard easier.

Here's a video I made for a competition on the forum awhile back (mind the shitty quality. The highlights you can save are compressed like shit). You can see I do many of these things. I am using middleweight Roy Jones vs heavyweight Ali in GOAT mode:

There is a new professional wrestling game where the whole objective is to make it look like you're hurting the opponent while keeping him safe, and following pre-planned finishes.
