Please, don't inflict my book onto yourself. I never got an editor and its full of grammar errors. That, and over time I slowly disliked my story more and more and I think it's only a mildly interesting read. If you really want to, my book is here. Read the good and bad amazon reviews before you do anything, lol.

I'm hoping to publish a second, way more polished and skillfully made (I think) book within the next couple of months, and I would be less embarrassed to show you that one, heh.
How has life even been lately? I haven't talked to you in forever.

Well I went into college, did IT specializing in Game Development. Turns out it wasn't exactly my thing, too much business crap not enough actual programming/designing, so now I started Engineering. But, it's still not really my thing. So I'm using it for the benefits now, trying to find my own place, then I'm gonna try getting into uni (I'm gonna be 21 soon so I won't need credentials), hoping to study Physics or maybe IT/AI, but probably Physics.

Also my girlfriend broke up with me 3 / 4 months ago, which got me sad, angry, sad again, angry again, depressed and now I'm finally feeling free and hopeful.

So yeah, shit happened, I dealt with it.

How about you? Studying or just writing? I imagine something like a linguistic study would suit you, no?

Both of those sound like loads of fun. I love hearing other people's ideas for books and I'm full of advice when it comes to writing, which you can ask me about any time.
A book written by two separate people can be difficult though. Mostly because both writers have different styles of writing and it throws off the reader a lot sometimes.

Sad day. Breakups are one of the worst things ever. Me and my girlfriend broke up about 3-4 months ago as well, but when we separated the relationship had been dying for at least a month, and I felt more like, "Good riddance, it's finally over" more than anything when it happened. The worst thing Ive felt was loneliness and I had a moment where I almost developed feelings for her again, but I'm pretty good at keeping myself in check.

I'm going into Teaching though, actually. Gonna teach English and Social studies, with a creative writing class on the side. If I get incredibly lucky or I have some deep revelation about myself in the next four years, there's always the possibility that one of my books could hit off and I could begin a career as an author. That would be my dream job.

Awesome. I have this habit of never finishing anything I start and getting distracted by new ideas I get.
How about I join your roleplay thread and you kinda help me out in writing where you think I need it.

That's pretty much the same as what I had. Once you finally get over it though, it's great. I feel like I'm the newest sports car on the market and I'm ready to let beautiful babes take me for a test drive.

This is awfully simple, but the best way to finish a book is to write. Make it part of your life, like a job (breaks are equally important). Figure out what way you should implement writing to make it most enjoyable and productive for you. I try to write at least 1,500 words a day when working on a book, but others just arrange 3+ hours of their day dedicated to writing and when the time passes that's all they do.
If you're distracted by other ideas, write them all down on a MS word folder and flesh out the ideas and their plots when inspiration strikes. But besides that, continue on your main project.
But I could totally suggest improvements to your writing over visitor messages. You'll probably improve the most simply from practice though. I found that when writing my novel this month, I got a lot better at where I am now than how I was at the beginning.
