Here's how it happened:
I tried to fit in with bullies by swearing. They weren't bad for swearing, I call them a "bad crowd" for bullying.
I learned that I didn't like swearing and didn't want to fit in with bullies.

EDIT: Right right, on topic - When I was young, I meekly blended in with the background. At some point in my grade school I was simply 'unremarkable' and no one even bothered. That's when I learned to observe and actually fit in (which finalized late in high school, a time when the Philippines learns about internet memes)
