Yeah! Apparently so man. It was such a disaster dude, I remember I used to be able to see the towers right from my home as a kid and then one day they just weren't there. It felt really surreal. Everything around us just paused and everyone was just focused on calling loved ones to see if they were alright. I remember we had relatives from China calling us to ask if we were safe. Crazy, crazy times.

That's actually really surprising to me that somebody would survive a jump all the way from the tower. I'd assume that the friend's legs were probably completely shattered or something.

Yeah, two of some of the most memorable towers not being in a city like New York is a lot to take in. I think slowly but surely people are beginning to get used to it, which is why the support of the 9/11 victims financially is starting to come into question of being revoked.

People survive skydiving malfunctions occasionally, I guess some just have the luck of a thousand men

That's what I'm guessing. I just naturally assumed it was somewhere in the first 4 or 5 floors. They didn't just have windows at the top of the buildings people...
