Hey, Firefly. Out of curiosity, did you know Homestuck is up and running again?

Hi Azure! I'm not familiar with that actually?

Quote from Captain Cook
Relationships aint my shit, I guess.

I just hope something happens in the world and I can go on a field trip for a year or two.

lovey-dovey shit is so personal and like, insignificant in it's own oddly beautiful way that you have to be a grown-ass fucking person to truly appreciate and handle it, and I'm clearly not at that point, romantically speaking. I just need to feel out who I am and just ride that train for a while before I start asking for passengers.

At least you can admit that though. A lot of guys your age aren't big enough to do so.
Quote from Jutsu
It's excruciatingly difficult utilizing my lyrical arsenal without escalating to loquacious verbiage.

So I endeavor to diminish my expansive vocabulary, refraining from exorbitant superfluity. Whilst adequately conveying my overarching perspectives and opinions.
But I digress.

Social gender roles aside, it's more appropriate for the woman to stay at home with the child simply for convenience of breast feeding and maternal instincts if anything else. That's probably something you're going to have to face if you want to have children.
I'm not personally invested in the idea of the man supporting his family shtick that is automatically dumped onto all boys at a young age, in addition to the plethora of other fucking soul crushing expectations we have to put up with.

But my concept of love would lead me to believe that your partner would support you during that difficult time, regardless of gender roles.

It's a tough one, a topic for sure.

Exactly. It's hard because I feel strongly that women need to be the primary caregiver. I think the absence of this is why kids are coming out so messed up. My job essentially as a woman is to birth and care for children. And I want to do this. Very badly. I just don't know how if I'm at home with the children, I can simultaneously be making money to support us?

But it's also exasperating, being unable to utilize my eloquent wordplay out of fear of my articulations being misapprehended. I've got such a dense pool of words to pull from, I wish I could flex it sometimes, you know?

You make me think about newbie writers who just LOVE the thesaurus to death and will spam them at every opportunity just to sound intelligent. We know you aren't but that's the impression we are getting. If you wanna learn new words, your best bet is to read alot. Go read some William Gibson (I would say Tolkien, but I don't want to kill you) and lots of news sites and you'll naturally feel the words as long as you've known about them. I never noticed how much a word was being used until I learned what it was. And many older things I've seen as a kid began making sense.

Using the word the proper way whenever you can should be the goal, not the penultimate step before rote memorization.

I feel you on that.
I also really want to fulfill my biological compulsions and obligations, being so lonely contributes greatly to my crippling depression. Even with the over population issue, it doesn't change the fact that I'm spurred forward to complete these evolutionary purgatives.

But, I really feel like I was born too late, like I missed the time period I was genetically meant for sometimes.

It isn't my intention to pack my posts rife with rare words. And I do read a lot instead of scouring thesauruses and dictionaries, that's what I used to do as a child. It's funny that my parents made me do it as a punishment and now my vocabulary surpasses theirs. I hardly consider myself a linguistic master though, far from it. I just realize that if I want to understand people and get people to understand me I need to expand my knowledge of my language. In addition the personal research I've been doing on body language, which accounts heavily for understanding people during in person interactions.

Actually I've found it's important to only learn so much at one time and focus on figuring out how to utilize the new words before moving on.

Maybe you should take a few pointers from me, when it comes to learning.

As long as the man can trust you being left home alone without looking for another man, he will have no problem working extra hard to make sure you're fine. Men get a warm and fuzzy knowing that they're working their asses off to make their beloved happy.

He says he wanted to learn new vocabs. That's what he said the first time, so that is what I'm basing my post on.

What the hell is that last one suppose to mean. I am offering you tips and you're pretentiously acting as if you know what you're doing.

How you learn and what you've accomplished as a kid is your business, but Cook is right about your approach. You're trying to sound like nothing you've sounded before so naturally we're going to get this impression. I mean, if you actually were trying to learn new vobabs this whole time then why are you only starting to post them in succession this time? Unless you're just showing off.

I never said you were actually showing off, just that you reminded me of people who did in the manner by which you are already doing it.

I've really had to teach myself how to teach myself.

I mean, learn how to learn. You know?

You want me to make an alphabetic list?

I'm sure you could vouch for it yourself. Lately I've even been playing with alliterations and the like, I'm not sure where he gets the impression that this is new behavior for me, like, at all.
