I realized that Steam was being a cheeky little shit and tried downloading updates when I told it not to download shit, haha. Once I paused that it got better, but it's still shit. Like I watch 720p in 3 minute bursts.

That makes your stance pretty clear. Like I said, it's apples and oranges. So I wont say that social trends of mice necessarily play out for humans. But humans are just like other mammals, essentially ruled by instinct honed from the last 80 thousand years of natural selection.
