You see, this is why I keep telling people the era of Wall-E is at hand.

Kinda like eating out your mo...

Goddammit guys, you're making it too easy.

When I eat it, I have to make sure I've booked a doctors appointment after to make sure I haven't contracted anything.

Given what I know of his mom, you'll need an exorcist, not a doctor.

I do that too sometimes, but the hd ones aren't really "HD" and they're always 8 min long cos slow internet and I'm not going to hold my dick while looking at a buffer visual loop over a still image of tentacles.

So normally I just stream low-def porn like a normal person.

yeah, because I'm not some poor guy living in the streets, that's why. I actually have a decent house made of wood, unlike some people here.

I have a decent house made of stone.

According to minecraft that's the next logical step up from your poor ass.

I mean I haven't lived in squalor for a while now, but you sound pretty sheltered.

Maybe the good folk of SP can help me with this. So my laptop's hard drive took a shit, I put a new one in there, added some new RAM, and started teh whole process of installing windows on it. Shortly after Windows was installed, something happened, the laptop crashed, and since then I can't get the bastard to turn back on. I've tried just about fucking everything except taking the old ram out to see if it went bad. I cannot even get to BIOS as the screen's backlight never comes on, and the whole system powers off after about thirty seconds. The keyboard lights up, it is showing that the battery is there and it is receiving a charge, so I don't think it's a power supply issue with the motherboard.

Anyone have any experience with this kind of shit? The only thing I have left to try before seeking expert advice is you guys, a magnet, and waiting this shit out.

try taking the battery out and holding the power button for 60 seconds.

what about taking the new stick of ram out, does that make a difference?
