alright you've got me there.

when I had my first apartment my friend/roommate Erik got a rabbit from one of his friends who moved and couldn't take it with her. it wound up dying when he and my other roommate Tom forgot to take it back inside on the hottest day of summer that year (92 f I think), I came home from work at 6 and was like uhh guys, where's the rabbit. its cage was built with a sheet metal bottom and it literally cooked to death. poor little guy.

about 10 minutes later Erik was cutting its legs off with a hacksaw to keep in the freezer for future stuffing. they actually turned out quite nice. I know they say rabbit feet are lucky but I'm pretty sure those two aren't doing him any favors.

I understand you can't eat something which you loved. But if you went to the extent of stuffing it and cutting it up, why not put it in your mouth too?
