If Cleverbot was self-aware it has no way of harming us anyway. It's just another scientific accomplishment for humans. Not to mention we've been an established sapient race for much longer this hypothetical incoming tide of sapient robots. We don't really have anything to fear from this possibility. We are literally the creators of robots. But hey, it's fun to be the underdog and fight the oppressive murderbots, right?
Also, I'm taking this way too seriously.

well, robots have a higher chance to win, cause thats what we get for making the internet are lives, we seriously need to stop these trends control are lives, cause were eventually gonna lose technology, and then a bunch of hipsters are gonna kill themselves, then robots would already kill like 30 percent of the human population without doing anything

You can start the movement by leaving the internet right now! Right on brother, lead the revolution

A lot of you have probably seen this, but the talk of "robot takeover" really reminds me of this video. Any robot takeover in the future is far more likely to be economic than military.

Quote from GuardianTempestAll this robot feelings talk made me remember this comic I saw on Imgur.
I felt kinda sad by it, if we end up having to "hard test" robots, at least we should tell them that so they wouldn't flip out on "Why are these humans torturing me?" and go crazy.
I don't know man.
Can robots even "feel"? I know our technological advancement has made significant improvements on AI but I don't think it can reach to the point of them actually having genuine feelings like us.

A question for the ages, we won't find out until we're all elderly (and still browsing stickpage).Quote from ZeroCan robots even "feel"?
For me, if it can register pain as something to avoid, it's probably close enough for me. Persocoms are the way of the future

No, no, like, genuinely feel just as how we humans do.
I know that they are capable of at least some basic "feelings" since it is possible to inject consciousness into them but to feel like humans is I believe, impossible.
