I had doubts about clock kid being innocent, that the whole thing was just a publicity stunt meant to guilt trip everyone with the "racial and religious minority" trump card, but I always pushed it aside in favor of him being misunderstood and the system overreacting, and that there's not enough to claim that about him. Turns out my doubts were spot on.

I have mixed feelings about that troll comeback. On the one hand it be cool to laugh at his pathetic attempts for attention. But on the other hand don't we encourage him by giving him attention?

What a fucking disgusting human being. I was on his side, but, that's just fucking disgusting. His parents are most likely pushing him for it, but, I still can't stand this. He's literally getting 15 million dollars for fucking being arrested, which the police have ever legal right to do ANYWAY. There's no doubt that the arrest is racially motivated, but they did nothing legally wrong, nor do they deserve fucking 15 million for it. I seriously hope this kid and his family don't get a cent. Abusing the fact that people sympathized with him to fucking gain money. What a decrepit waste of human life.

He got scholarship offers, thousands of dollars in free electronics from Microsoft/Apple, met the president, went on talk shows, apologies from thousands of unrelated guilt tripping white people, and now he wants $15 million dollars. Enough is enough. His parents need to be put on a leash and sorted out.

That's a bit of an over reaction. Greed is typical and if you can game the system, then surely you'll game the system for as much as you can. It's much less egregious than the shit most american's let the 1% get away with, and that actually affects them.

tell that to the taxpayers who will be paying that $15 million. this actually affects people too.

greed like this is something we should collectively condemn as a society, not shrug off as something that's to be expected. people who game the system ruin it for everyone else and we would be better off without them.

They should have given him the money sooner. Apparently his parents were planning a vacation to Paris around a week or so ago. The collective irony would have ended the world.
