Whats the boardgame boomerang

Basically, you start out with a maximum of 6 players (3-6) and each player picks a faction. Each faction has a leader and 3 military units, and each faction has their own buffs (attack, defense, speed). Then, the gamemaster rolls a dice to see which scenario will be present in this world (There will be a total of 6). After the scenario is determined, a list of goals for said scenario will come up and each individual player must roll the dice for their own goal (Which they can tell people or keep it secret--They can bluff as well). Finally, each player rolls for an attribute that may buff up their faction. Basically it's a turn based game with dice rolling for attack and defense, and the first one to achieve their goal is the winner. I won't be posting it here, but it's a fun game to play with a couple of friends seeing as the possibilities are endless with 6 scenarios and 6 goals for each.

So its primarily dice-based and strategy is secondary?

Yeah. Haven't really worked out the kinks cuz we literally thought about it in a skype call at midnight when we were bored.

Holy shit boomerang. Just shell out on Forbidden Stars if you're looking for a grand strategy game. Or Dead of Winter and Battlestar Galactica if you want a cooperative competitive game with personal secret goals.

These would actually be fun to try. I think it's just the fun in making a game between friends that makes us wanna keep going with it. Making stuff like that has a certain euphoria to it I think.
