I had a dream in my afternoon nap, it centered on a guy named Daniel and a Time Wizard companion. Long story short, the latter's trying to fix the former's greater mistake, while at the same time narrating what was happening at real time, as if he knew how events played out. Current situation: Trying to retrieve some object from his ex-girlfriend and there's a time-shifted evil copy bent on screwing them over. At some point, an important key on Daniel's neck falls off into a tiny manhole. The wizard says that the key did get retrieved, but through him shrinking down and flying a Da Vinci-esque glider into it. Now here's where it got weird. Suddenly I'm in Daniel's place and the wizard turns to me to ask a question. "Now, do you think I'll survive this one or not?" I reply "Of course, wizards can do anything."

I got it wrong, a time paradox ensued where he never lived to go back in time to help Daniel in his trouble. Because my brain can't simulate a time paradox properly, reality just went dark on my like some glitch in a poorly-made game. Obviously, my mind screamed for a second chance, and when I did get it I say "No, there's no way you'll survive that."

Then he says "Alright, now you die."

My body locks for a brief moment as once again it processes some kind of paradox, then I woke up. I failed and I didn't get a third chance. What should I say in such a situation?

I didn't want to answer your previous question initially, because I wanted it to be a surprise, and didn't want to generate early hype for something that may never come but yes. Yes, I am planning to do a Rate the User this year if I am still here long enough to do it. I'm bringing this up now because this bar analogy feels too good an idea to pass up.

Now in Last Year's Thread, I rated people in the finale and added something extra: Lasting Impressions. This year I had planned to do something a little different. My original idea was to make VideoGame RPG Character Analogies but now this Bar Analogy is looking to be really tempting to do. I suppose I could put up a poll if and when I make that thread soon but I want to know now, which one seems more appealing? Or if there is any other doable Analogy you guys would like to see me write about?

Please don't take it by heart. I know your reason to break any party is justifiable.

Anyway, from what you said, I know my posts doesn't exactly show what I'm thinking, and so I wanted to clarify it.
To be exact, what I wanted to do is to find balance, whether it's reasonable to judge some newcomer mistakes and banned him in spot.
Is it justified? Which is why, I wrote this:

So, basically, I agreed to Scarecrow's point. I think it was fair, but we need to explain to him what his mistakes were.
That's why I suggest only 1-day ban, so we can PM him what things that he has done wrong.
He would understand, and there's a chance that he can learn.

I know this would rather create another trouble. Many newcomers will spawn there, and the mods surely have to clean their mess up.

And because of that, I believe in Scarecrow's response of banning them on spot, especially if they're disturbing other members.

But if I'm wrong, and you wanted to explain, can we take it to the PMs? We can debate it much more easily there. And about my "point-less posts", I guess it was my mistake, and so I hope you can forgive me about those things. I just wanted people to get along together.
