That's not what it means either actually. Edgy is supposed to mean tense/nervous/irritable, etc. To be "on edge" if you will. The slang version refers to "cutting edge" as in someone who tries to be new, cool, and different by going against societal norms in an attempt to stand out in those ways. For example, proclaiming to the world that "I HAVE NO CHILL" is pretty fucking edgy.

Hey I haven't been following this conversation at all, just that people think you're edgy/obnoxious/whatever.

I haven't really read any of your posts, so I can't say. You might be cool. I dunno. But I can tell you first hand that the first half of your sig is some edgy shit and I'd suggest you replace it with something that doesn't scream that you want attention.

This is very logical and I understand it perfectly.
However:
a) The I HAVE NO CHILL thing is just because I can't tell when people are joking or not, so I always assume you are serious.
b) I won't change the purple writing because that is a reference to one of my favourite characters. And I definitelywon't change the "what I am" thing because that sums up my sad excuse for an existence. I also wouldn't change the meme because that kinda suggests how I behave. Raptor is suggesting, not demanding you change it because he thinks it looks edgy. People want you to change your sig because some people think it looks like shit. If Arch's sig looks like shit to you, suggest he change it.
