I have to say, I fucking love this game. I know I've been fan-boying over it in the video game chat thread, but goddamn it's fun. I've unlocked every character so far with the exception of Rob and Jigglypuff, which I'm probably gonna go for later. But yeah, so far I have a feeling that a lot of hours will be spent on this game.

Depends. He''s basically a faster Link, more unpredictable but also weaker. I personally find him pretty good.

I hope you don't figure out a counter, my whole play style revolves around them haha.
Since this morning I've picked up a few really nasty tricks with them, like when I can kind of tell you want to come in on me as my mecha koopa is moving forward towards you I can throw out my fsmash and try to catch you rolling past my koopa and maybe even get a KO. Or like when you're recovering I can throw mecha koopa out and when it reaches the ledge turns around and comes back I can pick it up and then throw it at you. Also if I attempt to release another one a little bit early as the one on the field is exploding I can get past a lot of the animation and really optimize my mecha koopa output, but that kind of means I'm not following up on my mecha koopa which I really should be doing.
Right now I'm enjoying Bowser Jr because he can brawl at close range and fire his cannon at long range and can try and control medium range. He's a versatile character which I really like.

Toon link is a trip though, he's a lot faster than link and he's got some surprising KO moves. That first match kind of rattled me, I didn't really know what to do about your link. Sometimes it seems so dangerous to approach in the air because a Dair or Bair could kill me if I'm not careful. And I practically have to put the mecha koopas down just to block those sexy projectiles.
