This thread is for you to list things in here that you don't understand why people like, participate in, people believe, etc.
Something I will never, ever understand the appeal of are Beats headphones. Although they were marketed incredibly well, they are a seriously overpriced product with pretty poor durability and decent sound quality that only got huge off of peer pressure and celebrities wearing them. I wish more people who fell victim under buying Beats could do a bit of homework and check out AKG, Sennheiser, Audio Technica, Beyerdynamic, Shure, Grado, or any of the other deservedly reputable manufacturers that create headphones.
What don't you get the appeal of?

I just don't understand the fuss in overly expensive basketball shoes.
1. You can't even play basketball with them
2. If you dare get it dirty everyone will get mad at you.

what are you talking about? there's a distinct difference between basketball shoes and regular shoes made by a company that mostly makes basketball shoes.
I'll never understand how some people can call others ignorant without knowing the definition themselves
I'll never understand how people can play cod all day forever
I'll never understand why my computer can run gmod but not minecraft
I'll never understand why weed is illegal for recreational use in california
just a few tho

I don't get the obsession over shoes. I get having nice things but something like shoes that's just gonna get dirty really easily seems like a waste, although It's not much different than me buying a new computer every couple years or buying new parts, or buying games.

Whaaaaat. Death is pretty cool sometimes, and sports I can get. I like watching mma but not football, maybe it's a thing you just like or take place in.

Comic books and comic book superhero movies.
Shoes are more of a "status" symbol for some people. If they care about them enough that they won't eat months worth of lunches just to save up for some 13's, then who am I to judge? That said, I think J's are generally ugly and they look like they belong to astronauts.
Black shirts that only have the red Supreme logo. Honestly when I see it, I can't help but think that the person wearing it looks more of a try-hard than trendy. I mean, unless their Supreme stuff actually has some sort of creativity put into it, people who wear them are a form of lesser fuccbois (assuming they're not complete fuccbois). Don't get me wrong I don't have anything against the brand, but I mean, it's just a fucking logo on a shirt why are there so many people wearing it.
RWBY.

Same difference really. Most people buy shoes and keep them in mint-condition and never once step outside wearing them.
