View Profile Perhaps you could make like, a knife specialist? He's got more speed, as he uses only blades. (Swords, Daggers, Machetes, Etc.) And he's not heavily armed, so no armor. (If armor has anything to do with damage, or buffers).
A Demolitons guy - C-4, BREACH CHARGES, ROCKET LAUNCHER, GRENADE LAUNCHER, etc etc.

No. I'm not giving any characters starter weapons besides one meele to start with. The Cop will have a police baton, the medic a bone saw, and I'm not sure about others yet. Also, i want each class to be a regular joe/sue. a knife specialist and demolitions guy don't fall under that category.

View Profile Maybe something like if you get bit by a zombie or something, your health slowly drains and you need to find a hidden antidote or something to cure it.

I'm gonna make it so that as soon as you are attacked the first time, your health begins to steadily deteriorate, but there's no way to stop it: you just have to keep finding food and health packs. This is a way of ensuring that the player keeps moving: I don't want it to be too easy to just hang out at a turret or sniper rifle and camp out.
