So I finally got around to watching it recently, and I thought the animation was simply fantastic (the humor was half bad either).

You guys have any thoughts on this or stop-motion animation as a whole?

A flash from the past. A children's movie that's not childish. Overall awesome. Stop motion wasn't too bad. Has moments I can't see coming. 10/10 would watch again. - Metacritic.

Just so you know, The LEGO Movie is not stop-motion. It's a CG Movie, made to appear Stop-Motion. There's no way the limbs could bend like it was stop-motion.

Getting back to the Lego movie though so we don't deviate to far away from the topic

That intro to the movie was awesome... I remember seeing that movie when it came out with my friends and it was worth going to see, and of course watching it again after it came out on DvD
