The purpose of this thread isn't to just talk about video games but also to talk about awesome video game experiences you've had. I'll start.

A little Skyrim for yah.
Got into this quest to dig up an elder scroll, in some icy shit hole Dwarven ruins. I hear two Khajitts arguing over Skooma, one kills the other one accusing him of stealing it. Then I slit his throat. I read the journal left behind and it says that the one I didn't kill only signed them up for this expedition to get his brother off moon sugar, and only brought a little to help bring him down. But it went missing along with the crew and his brother accused him of stealing it. Later in the dungeon I found one of the crew members shot in the shoulder and dead, I read his journal saying they were captured by creatures with no eyes, he said he escaped with an Orc chick but the other two crew members decided to go in deeper, because they're fucking idiots. The Orc threw him up the mine shaft and tried to fight them off while he ran like a bitch, then he died like a bitch all alone *His journal didn't say that bit, but I knew*. Later I found her corpse and knew Falmor were coming up. So I slit all their throats. When I got into their camp I found the other two crew members restrained to stone tables and totally dead, one was unrecognizable, just bloody bones and the other was a high elf who had his eyes cut out. I assume they wanted to make him more like Falmor.
Here's the funny part
Coincidentally when I was rummaging through their stuff I found the Skooma bottles, empty, Christ this quest is fucked up!

I really appreciate quest quality like this, it really reminds me of Morrowind.

A few days ago, some college folks were playing Tekken Tag 2 (Solo matches only) on the PS3, except only one of the regulars was there along with a couple of my noob buddies. Of course, I got my shit kicked easily from a few years of rust. So I let slide one player rotation before I got to play again.

I main Lei, and I kicked his ass 5 matches in a row. He got very buttmad (he had a mindset like CoD Players) but he honorably admitted GG after beating me. Then a few more of the regulars came by, I won a few times more until I got beaten.

The next day, I came to repeat my feat. I got a 0-3 curbstomp since I need a little warmup. Once it was my turn again the unwitting Law player got annihilated with stances and mixups up the wazoo. I beat three more players before a Lili main Oki'd me to death. At that point I've gotten a reputation for being an annoyingly-fearsome Lei player. I was quite good back in the PSP Tekken6 Circuit back in high school and I've relived some memories.

I got a similar Tekken story, I was playing Tekken Tag 2 Ranked and for 13 straight matches I got matched up with the same guy, at first he just spammed cheap law/paul things. But dear god yoshimitsu is THE KING of cheap. Everytime he tried to sweep kick with law, I flashed. Everytime he wiffed, I flashed. It came to the point where he switched to Devil Kazuya and spammed lasers. I'd just teleport behind him with yoshi's sitting stance and perfected him with Suicide. Last couple matches he just stopped fighting. It was hilarious.

I think I told this story once, but imma tell it again.

I was playing Super Mario 3D World in my dorm when it came out and I was like "This game is fucking awesome." Some jock in my dorm, who by the way doesn't really play video games at all, stopped by to see the commotion and was like "Hey, can I play?" And then after we played he was like "This game is fucking awesome." Then my roommate, who I should mention is a die hard COD fan and nintendo hater, was like "Can I play too?" and then he said "This game is fucking awesome." The jock is now my best friend, and I converted my roommate into someone who has a lot of respect for Nintendo. Super Mario 3D World was the shit.

Probably my most memorable moment is when me and a couple of friends won our city's league of legends tournament back in season 2, a precious moment that will stay in my heart forever. If we are talking about quests tho, ( its more like wtf moment than an awesome moment), you know how after you finish all side quests and main quests in skyrim the game keeps recreating small quests for like.. an eternity. I literally had 5 exactly, EXACTLY the same quests in a row. Like literally, I had to go to a cave, kill a Bandit and retrieve a tome, like 5 f*kin times.
