Updated with a small description of what each area will more than likely include.
So this is extremely similar to what I was trying to do a few months back before I was uprooted and left without internet and proper supervision of this sort of thing.
What this is going to be, is a .zip file full of background elements for you all to use as you will to either learn from or put into an animation so you don't have to stare at a white background while things are happening. There will be a poll added to this, and all I require from the community is about 5 votes for the most desired theme for this pack before I'll begin work on it. After work has started I'd say given the amount of free time I have now it shouldn't take longer than 3-7 days to have something uploaded.
The first one will be a complete edition, with the entire thing released to the public. I say that because what I would like to start across SP as well as some other sites, is commissioning these packs so they can be used as an actual resource for both my profit and the commissioners profit. Keep in mind though, that the first one that is voted upon in the poll will be complete with nothing kept from you all for use. Any additional packs after that, unless commissioned, will provide about half of the actual resources and will remain free. If anyone has any special additions to the packs I won't mind doing that as well.
So before I even want to ask anyone for donations or anything like that, I want to actually get a good size portfolio going for this. I want to do at least three full packs, one that is completely open to you all and two partials. If you have an idea in mind that isn't in the poll, feel free to comment here with your idea and I will take it into consideration as either a stand alone pack or an addition to whichever is picked.
Just to be perfectly clear, this is a free service from me to you all, and I will not be requiring any form of money in this thread. Any commission requests should be sent via PM.
Here is a short few references of my work. The top being the most recent and preferred style.

So far I'm thinking of voting between:
1- Forest - Rocks, rivers, bushes, trees, vines, etc.
2- Desert - Rocks, sand dunes, egyptian statues, pyramids, temples, bones, etc
3- Mountains - mountains, slope terrain, large rocks, waterfalls, rivers, trees, etc
4- Swamp - marshes, lily pads, moss, vines, old trees, etc
5- Cave - stalagmites and stalactites, bats, bones, lava, water, diamond amongst other crystals, mine carts, shafts, torches, etc
6- Crypt/Graveyard - skeletons, bones, graves, coffins, tombs, gates, dead trees, etc
7- Old Village - Just to clarify, the old village will be similar to the one in the floating city background. There will be straw huts as well as wooden buildings.
8- Tundra - snow, trees, ice, snowmen, igloos, Christmas stuff, frozen ponds, grass, dirt, etc
The poll is multiple choice.
Here's the list for TUNDRA. If you want something that is NOT on the list, please let me know. I will try to add every suggestion to the pack. This is what I've got so far.

Here is the first day's progress:

The grounds have taken the longest to do. I want to focus on making a bunch of objects today because those are more fun to make in my opinion. Again, if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to let me know in any way possible so I can get your ideas in this. So far I'm going to do just about every object on the list at least once. I'll probably do four or five trees as well as over ten unique large rocks.
