Pretty sure you can work around it with Hamachi, or so I've heard haven't tried myself.

In the game, it has a server for USA, Europe, Japan and Asia. I usually play in Asia 'cause there's where I am.

That would be a local server... You know you are on multiple servers right now just to post to stickpage in general... I mean you can see how many hops it takes but most of the servers don't mean anything anyways unless for some odd reason you want to pick the route to get to the end server yourself which would slow your connection speed cause software for the servers is set up to be speed efficient

Anyways though since he plays in Asia server it would be slow for and USA players and probably most of Europe as well
