I have always thought of this, personally I find conspiracy theories very interesting. It doesn't necessarily mean I believe that they are all true because they aren't, to me its just the thoughts and ideas that really intrigue me. I love researching about them and just fining information about them.
One thing that gets on my nerves is when I talk to people about conspiracy theories, they always come to the conclusion that they are never true, sure it may sound absurd, you still cant come to that conclusion that they aren't true. Another thing is whenever I talk to people about them I kinda just get brushed off like they don't want to talk about them.
So in this thread you can talk about conspiracy theories that you think are cool, talk about one's you already know. Or talk about if you agree with them or disagree. It's just a thread about the general discussion about conspiracy theories.
for example a famous conspiracy theory is the black knight satellite: http://www.armaghplanet.com/blog/the-truth-about-the-black-knight-satellite-mystery.html I read this article, personally found it very interesting.
What do you think about Conspiracy theories?

I have an interest in reading them, although I never believe them.
Illuminati is basically one of the biggest conspiracy theories, second only to the famous Area 51 theory

How 'bout the Guy Fawkes theory? From a video I watched on YT, the theory is proven to be true.

If it's proven to be true, then it isn't a conspiracy 'theory', my boy.
And a youtube video proved it was true? Mind linking us to the video? That sounds a bit far fetched.

There's nothing more annoying than a fedora wearing conspiracy theorist talking about how our keyrings are actually wireless trackers. And just like miracle mentioned most of the time they've got nothing solid to prove their ridiculous statements.

Historical records has shown that Guy Fawkes was ironically against Anarchy, shaming the millions of internet denizens who have since used his image to suggest it. I mean just cos they watched V for Vendetta >_>

Actually, the only conspiracy theory I remember ending up being true was the fact that the NSA can track cellphones, google searches, and IP's, but that's about it as far as I'm concerned.

Wonder no more. It's not as fancy as you may have believed, but it was certainly horrible.

Huh I actually was one of those people who thought that it was limited to LSD research like it says ._. interesting.
Also here's another theory that personally I can totally believe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InoHOvYXJ0Q
Theres just way to many coincidences for this not being true, also this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktOOxvFaemU
i strongly believe chem trails are real, I strongly believe that I have actually seen a few of my own.

That is a crippling generalization that no doubt alot of people will believe. But the truth is, that if you dig hard enough you can get facts on almost anything and time is our friend for what science can do.
If you haven't figured it out yet, I like reading conspiracy theories. Because I'm a skeptic. And I get this appreciation for digging up things that I don't think exist or are wrong, but I would never buy into any kind of conspiracy just because the premise sounds awfully enticing.
With that said, I'm pretty sure the Black Knight is just some wayward space debris or something the US/USSR wanted to keep. I mean, if they REALLY wanted to know what it is, they'd go and get it, spending millions yes which makes you realize that the US/USSR would not want to spend millions because they know what it is. And it is for that reason that it is not alien.

Ya I believe the exact same thing, Im pretty sure its just space debris that looked weird so they took a a picture of it. I also just choose the black knight just as an example, I personally didn't believe in it either. But about the chem trails, I honestly think its possible for on thing, 1. I THINK I have seen some but not %100 sure, and really there's just way to many coincidences with the election and everything.

You will have seen contrails at some point in your life. When the air is cold enough aeroplanes' exhaust condenses. Here is a nice map showing all the contrails over the earth for a 24 hour period back in September 2012.

Ya that makes sense, but would you think they would be used for changing the weather?
