Okay so im going to say that though The best had the cleaner animation Escarioths was just more pleasing to watch (that ticking noise didnt really help much either THEBEST) Music, sounds effects, visually pleasing background (for me anyways). My vote goes to Escarioth but work on your resizing bud. Maybe increase your smoothing for cleaner lines, or simply come to love your onion skin, marry the onion skin, start a family with the onion skin, grow old with the onion skin.

i am absolutely pleased with this battles. it was very hard for me to choose a winner but ultimately erroth came out as the winner. it took me a minute to think about it but i ended up going with the same reason as darkness up there. all in all though, both of you did great

Escarioth: I like your sound effects and the angles and such... but it needs to be smoother and eased.. and dont add necks to stickmen ._.

TheBestG07: you should get rid of the ticking sounds... it gets kind of annoying when it keeps on going on.... but nice fights though

Yes, I do re-size like a mofo. It just happens so insidiously! I'll start the frame with a certain size, and suddenly after animating a few frames I'll think to myself "well this isn't right". Been happening since day 1. I'm gonna pay more attention to it in my next animation. Thanks for noting it.

But I thought my sound effects were terrible. I'd never used them before....well I'd never used much of anything prior to this battle since I'm just that new...but I'm glad not everyone thinks my sounds were a disaster. The smooting is difficult. I animated with a cheap mouse, without a mouse pad, and on uneven surfaces. But hopefully I'll improve with practice.
I keep trying to tell Erroth to slow down, but he insists on moving at 30fps, and eats up my frames at a very troubling pace. My futile attempts at easing him are sometimes lost in the process.

TheBestG07's animation was animated better, yes, but Escarioth was more pleasing to the eye, and easier to follow along.
I also loved how Erroth moved and did things. The story behind it was awesome.

Anyways, Erroth, you need to work on your stick construction mainly.

Both battles were really good of course....but...

My vote is going to Escarioth

Why?
Well, i enjoyed it more, nice background, story of some sort, SFX, music: it all made this animation enjoyable, yes he had some problems with smoothness, but anyway.

ThebestGO7's animation was smoothier but this ticking noise...was actually kinda annoying...

Well all you need to do is have hand control yen maybe your going to be fine... Anyway, may the best win! So good luck to both of ye

Erroth gets my vote:

Erroth:SFX, Music, Dat awsum flower, and a little story that leads up to the battle and was very entertaining

The other guy:the annoying click doe >.< but besides that it wasnt that bad but erroths was just better.
(It kinda came down the the flower and the SFX lol)

erroth had more effects, scenery, story but i kinda preferred thebest's anim. His stick constructions are very good. the only thing he needs now is to make the sticks move more fluidly. His anim was smooth but his stick's limbs werent moving enough.

Thank you kindly. While I seem to have won this battle, the war is far from over. Let us see who will have become the better animator by the end of the next year. It's never truly over.

Thanks again for the challenge. I knew I would have to do my very best to be able to beat you, and that allowed me to improve so much over the two weeks of the battle. I hope we both go on to be great animators.
