The Demon King tells his son everything. He said with a scoff, I know everything there is to know that night. And I know that your lover boy could experience the same fate. I will take away everything that makes you happy, until you bow to the Demon King and allow yourself to be his. That, is my mission.

But you shall see soon enough, young swords woman. You will see more of me, I promise you.

The red eyes continued to stare down the group, and there was a slight rustle in the bushes. Suddenly, the beady red eyes disappeared from sight, and a shadow moved insanely fast into the air. There was a smell of sulfur and death in the air. However, there was another shiny sparkle where the eyes once were.

Until next time.

She didn't reply anything... Jessica had no idea what to say anyways. The demon left the place, and Jessica thought to herself "I shouldn't have asked Gabriel to help me with this... if something happens to him, I won't ever forgive myself... it's probably better if I do this alone." she tightened her fist once again "I have to be patient... train myself until the moment comes, and I'll be able to take him down by myself". Jessica continued her way to Ravenholt letting out a deep sigh.

Hearing the arguing Liss felt Marcus pull her closer and closer until her face was completely against him. "U-uhmm... M-Marcus?" Gripping him she looked up and smiled sheepishly before wiggling slightly from his grip. "Everyone has more than one reason to keep fighting." Jessica didn't seem to be very talkative anymore. She seemed more closed off from everyone including Gabriel. Liss decided to distract herself by goose stepping and humming something to herself very softly.

"Laterne, Laterne,
Sonne, Mond und Sterne.
Brenne auf mein Licht,
Brenne auf mein Licht,
Aber nur meine liebe Laterne nicht.

Laterne, Laterne,
Sonne Mond und Sterne.
Sperrt ihn ein den Wind,
Sperrt ihn ein den Wind,
Er soll warten bis wir zu Hause sind!
Laterne, Laterne,
Sonne, Mond und Sterne.
Bleibe hell mein Licht,
Bleibe hell mein Licht,
Denn sonst strahlt meine liebe Laterne nicht."

Marcus couldn't help but smile because of Lissette. Her actions brightened his spirits as he decided to continue on with the group on their path. He could faintly hear the song she was humming, and it sounded pleasant. He would have to remember to ask her about the tune next time they stop.

Marcus started humming his own tune as they walked. Marcus couldn't wait until their journey was finished so he could invite Liss to come live with him on his farm. Would they have kids? Perhaps. Would he want them to follow in his own shoes? Probably not. Marcus' future seemed bright, and he was optimistic about it. He looked at his friends and thought about what would happen with them...

Lissette, perhaps she would come with him to live on his farm, and bear children for him. Together they would raise children who would one day seize their destinies and change the world, for the better.

Gabriel and Jessica, they would probably live together and start a family of their own. If Jessica didn't get herself killed by then, but even when she's showing her true colors she still seems to have good intentions.

Ahriman, he was somewhat of a stranger to Marcus. Perhaps the man would fade away into the background and return to where he came from.

Borislav, he would probably wander around Earth looking for a place to call home. Will he ever find it?

Septimius, Marcus didn't think much about his future. Would he have one?

He didn't really know the others, but still hoped they would find their place in this crazy world. Wherever their journey takes them, they will go together.

The others followed Jessica after the chilling encounter with the Demon Prince who disappeared, as if that were his plan all along. He seemed to be toying with the mighty swords woman's emotions, twisting them in an attempt to make her submit to his ways. However, she did not. A testament to herself.

They began to march down the path until they emerged at what looked like the base of a mountain. The city below it, however, was almost as large, if not larger than Aunorgard was. The walls were just as high, and the gates just as mighty. As they walked down the small dirt trail to the gargantuan wooden doors, it seemed it was opened for them before they could even request entrance. Curious, however still ever adventurous, the group walked into the city.

Upon entering, they realized a few things. One was that the mountain completely blotted out the high noon sun, making it more like a cloudy day. It was also a lively, bustling community filled with shops and people walking about. It was similar to Worborrow, with the exception of an exponentially larger community, and they were not puppets. Rather, they were the puppeteers. The men and women that walked along the sidewalks and across the streets all had pitch black eyes, and fangs bared. However, they seemed much more civil than the northern savages. If they looked around further, however, they would find that they are very wrong

As they approached the city Jessica started to feel nervous for some reason... the feeling was familiar tho. It was the same feeling that she has when they were surrounded by vampires before their encounter with the vampire queen. She didn't like the feeling at all, Jessica didn't know what to do either. She wouldn't trust any of those creatures, any of them can stab her in the back when she doesn't expect it.

Maybe the rest wasn't feeling that way, and for the sake of the group she'll let the others decide what to do, tho she said "I know that they may seem civilized, but don't let your guard down... we gotta investigate around, be careful" she stood next to Gabriel and waited for anyone from the group to move so she could follow.

"I'm okay with investigating." Septimius cracked his back and stretched his arms above his head with a sigh. "I need to go to the market anyways. I feel funny just being in my leather jerkin." And with that statement, he strolled away, following his nose towards the smell of food, because he hoped food stands would be by market stands.

"Buy something??... here???" she didn't like the idea to make contact with anyone, but they won't progress at all if they don't investgate. Jessica decided to follow Septimius but keeping tracks of everyone in her group. At least for Jessica is easy to recognise their footsteps.

The doors opened for the group right away. Liss felt special! Or they just leave the door open.. Anyways! Liss liked this place. Moving into the town it was much livelier thab any city they have been to. "Marcus look!" Pointing at a shop she used her other hand to hold his tightly. Taking a look at their fangs she tilted her head as she scraped at her four sharp teeth. "They aren't like the ones in Worborrow. Are they friendly?" Liss waved cutely to a few of them wondering what they'd even do.

This place certainly sensed suspicious, yes, but Ravin felt that the best course of action was to be inconspicuous Perhaps they were normal enough people. Perhaps they were represented in society by the outliers and freaks. He doubted this, but he still found it best to keep his head down. Hard considering his appearance. His hand brushed the vial on his neck. It comforted him to know that a powerful enemy was now his trophy. And for anyone that knew what it was, he let it serve as a warning. Things without warning happened anyway, as Septimius walked away from the group.

"Septimius you fool, splitting up is how our problems always start!" He set off after him and Jess, in vain perhaps, to retrieve him before anything happened.

Otael walked into the doorway to the city. Breathing heavily as he took each step. Fluffy was all but crushed in Otaels arms as he looked all around him. Everyone seemed different from when he had run away from Ravenholt, although to be fair it had been a while since he had set foot in the city. He stood behind everyone in the group, trying his best not to focus on everyone roaming the streets.

"Ravin please," Septimius sighed, "I had no intentions going alone, Jessica stated that we should investigate, so I'm going to investigate, but I have all intentions of staying with the team." He stopped and waited for everyone to catch up before he continued walking to their pace. "How is this then? Happy my friend?"

Holding Liss' hand Marcus looked around at the people and noticed their fangs too. "This certainly will be interesting. Perhaps the people here are friendly."

The tall angel couldn't help blushing as Liss waved at all of the people. She knew how to ale the man feel young.

"Well, there was quite no reason to be so utterly rude about it! If you had no intention then why did you walk off with no announcement? And the only bleeding reason Jess is here is because she followed your absentminded self because you failed to inform us that your quest for the market was far more important than our safety!" He threw his hands in the air "But by all means! Insist on your statement. But we're i to agree with you and admit that I erred in my judgement, than that would make us both wrong!"

Jessica and Septimius ventured off further into the city, with Ravin following and continuously debating with Septimius about how he left unannounced. The others came forward eventually, and Septimius could see many markets in front of him. Some of the vampires waved at Liss, however had a curious look on their faces. However, behind those markets were large wooden podiums with crowds of vampires in front of them, throwing hands up. In the middle was a humanoid male, hands tied behind his back and cuts all over his torso. His head was down, as if he had accepted his faith.

"Come on, come on," A vampire on stage yelled cheerfully, "Perfectly strong, muscular man. Useful for a vampire farm, could be sucked of blood every day! Do I have eighty?!"

Further off to the left, one would see a large farm, with many humans walking around aimlessly. Their eyes were pale, and they looked like simple slaves with bite marks all over their bodies.

As Septimius approached a market, one of those same, pale-eyed humans glanced up at him. "Can I help you...sir," He said in a monotone voice.
