The demon's tail was stomped down by The Minister's hard boot, however as he attempted to shoot the bolt at the beast's tail, he simply flung the tail back, causing The Minister to stumble backward. The demon then charged forward, flinging his arm forward in an attempt to rake his elongated claws against The Minister's body.

On one side of town, Jessica and Marcus walked through to the saw mill, still enraged and disgusted at the horrors they had found. As they looked on, they noticed that the place seemed....extremely ordinary. There was a vampire inside, working a saw as he cut a log into two equal pieces. Beside him stood stacks of wood, all waiting to be stripped of its bark and wood that has already been cut, and the trio smelt a strong scent of sawdust in the air. The vampire seemed extremely nervous, and has not yet acknowledged the presence of them.

On the other side of town, Boris, Septimius and Desmond finally realize that what they are looking for must be located at the fisherman's shack. They jog toward the shack as fast as they could, noticing that the sun was growing closer to setting behind the mountaintops. They gradually approached a small stream and noticed the shack next to it. They notice smoke coming from a chimney up top. Curious, Septimius walks over and lightly knocks on the door. He waits a moment, and then knocks again. By the fifth time, he cursed. "Why aren't they answering?"

Slowly it dawns on them as they begin to realize no one is home. "They won't mind if we just....slip in," Boris said, "Will they?"

Opening the unlocked door, the trio walked into the shack cautiously. Looking around, they saw drawings of a white whale posted all over the walls. There is a small table with a few cups and spoons on it, a sleeping mat by the fire place, and a bench in the small shack. This humble abode seemed very welcoming and comforting.

Jessica frowned as she felt the vampire on the sawmill, she was already holding back to don't let go her anger and kill the beast immediately. They needed information as soon as possible and they needed the vampire for that.

She entered the sawmill but the vampire didn't notice their presence he was also nervous over something, his quick movements and fast heartbeats allowed Jessica to deduct that something was bothering him badly. She'd use that to her advantage, it'll be impossible for him to lie to them. Jessica said in a quite loud tone "Excuse me!, am I interrupting something?".

Marcus entered the saw mill behind Jessica, and decided to follow her lead. "We just want to ask you a few questions, if you have the time," Marcus said with a stern tone.

The vampire finally took notice of the two of them, his eyes widening as he was visibly trembling. Shaking his head back and forth repeatedly, he mumbled to himself in a low voice "I don't want any part of this...I don't want any part of this!"

He looked down from them, going back to cutting wood in an attempt to forget they were there.

She waited a few seconds to see if he was actually going to respond, but seeing how they had no time to waste and apparently this vampire wasn't going to cooperate how she wanted, Jessica decided to step in and get next to him as she said once again "My friend said...." she then used a quite serious tone "We need to ask you a few questions...."

"AHA! Friends I have found the 20 from the butcher! We are one step closer to finding out the mys-" Ravin looked up. Everyone except Adric and a few others were missing and nowhere to be found.

"Well that was rather rude of them! Say, Adric, you have a deck of cards, do you not? Why don't we play a game to pass the time until our friends return?"

Adric shuffled the deck absent mindedly. The party had gone off in dozens of different directions, and Adric was left with Samson and Otael, not knowing what to do or where to go. Adric shuffled a deck of cards absentmindedly and he and Samson sat down for a game. Adric called to his friends "Come my friends! I'll deal you in!"

Ravin took his hand

"If I may ask, what game are we playing? I only know some simple ones, so explain the rules if you will"

Adric and Samson smiled at eachother "This game's called Blackjack. If you get 21, you lose"

OOC: You guys.... I don't even....

OOC: I think it's a great team building strategy!

"So the librarian lost her key here?" The stitcher mused as he entered the shack.

Desmond quickly examines the area for a key while Ghan stayed outside. Time was fleeting, any clue would suffice. And he then notices the whale on the painting..

"Wasnt the librarian reading a fisherman's tale or something?"He asked as he fiddled with the mounted picture.

"She was," Boris agreed as he examined the pictures. Flashing back to the library, he did recall the book to have a fisherman on it, now here it has pictures of a white whale.

"I'm... starting to see a pattern here," he stated. "It kind of reminds me of a certain book I know..."

As he's thinking, he looked around the shack for the missing key.

Watching Aldric and Samson, Gabriel hadn't the slightest clue what on Earth they were doing. But their friendship warmed his heart, and the game interested him.

From his place nearest to where he expected danger might come from, he continued to stand guard and keep on watch, hoping that everyone else was still okay.

The vampire begins to cut the wood more frantically in response to Jessica's tone, turning to her for only a moment before turning back to the wood. "I said I don't want any part of this..."

Meanwhile on the other side of town, as the group looks around the fishermen's shack, they begin to realize that the food on the table was fresh, as if someone had been there just before them. Even looking at the patterns on the walls, there seemed to be nothing interesting about this place. Looking on the "bed", there is a small pillow on top of it.
