Im not entirely sure why but most of the time there is no admins checking on the chat. I think it might be a good idea just to get a few more.

I agree.

I think a way to decrease meaningless messages and give opportunities for decent conversations is to increase how many messages nonmembers can send per minute and add more moderators. Also when I'm on my alts I notice the message limit thing is extremely glitchy. Around 10:00PM - 2:00AM PST is when I notice a severe lack of mods as well.

Just because admins aren't talking constantly, for example me, that does not mean that they are online and lurking around. Recently, I have just quit talking and banned anybody who spammed 5 messages instantly, etc. Not all admins have their full attention on the chat 100% of the time, some may be multitasking, which is the best to do in alt situations to keep you from going mad.

Indeed. I've started banning more excessive abuse of the chat without warning as well. It's frankly a waste of time to tell people to stop when they continue again later when they think I've gone or just carry on instantly after I tell them not to.

Indeed, they don't actually listen to what we say...

Anyone breaking the rules without at least 1 game on their account gets no mercy.

Yep. I've definitely been so rarely using one hour bans cause it's useless.

Any word on if I can make an app yet?
It's been a month or two without many appearances from mods on during the week where I am most active.
I could easily cover this time period myself.

Doesn't this seem to be counterintuitive? A lot of gamers may not even be aware of a rule system in place as its posted nowhere prior. An actual terms and conditions guideline to the global could probably be a good solution to removing a good 30 percent of the problem.

I don't give unwarned bans for caps locking or minor spam like saying your code 5 times over, I give it for behaviour that is so obviously malicious they know they're doing something wrong.

The mods are never on anyway and se attarcts a young audience anyway why do we need more mods? It will only confuse the situation
