**Notes
This is a LONG tutorial, if you do not have the patience and want a less detailed version to read, a shorter version is below(if you have any troubles look at the long version before replying or pming me)
Other people you invite have to have Hamachi and Open Canvas as well for this to work.
On Hamachi, only up to 5 people can join
on Open Canvas, only 4 people can join and draw at the same time

-----------------------------
Wondering what Open Canvas is? It's a drawing program that has a cool networking feature that allows you to draw with your buds.
But in order to use this feature, you have to(the best of my knowledge) download another program first. This program is called LogMeIn Hamachi.
-----------------------------
Hamachi Part I
But before you even do that, it's important you make an account on the Hamachi website. Click the link below
https://secure.logmein.com/products/createaccount.aspx
After clicking that link, it should bring you to a page like this
Account Creation (Click to Show)
Click the choice that says, "Access Computers Remotely," as indicated in the prtnscreen. After doing that,
complete the sign up sheet and create your account.
After successfuly, signing up and creating your account, you need to download LogMeIn Hamachi, which you can do through this link
https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/download.aspx
It should bring you to a page that includes this
Download Page (Click to Show)
Download the Unmanaged Version.
Upon a successful download. Install Hamachi. And make sure you choose to attach your account to the installation or Hamachi will NOT work.
After doing this, Open Hamachi. It should look like this
Hamachi (Click to Show)
Click the Power button to activate Hamachi(It looks like the PS3 startup button)
Once you've "Powered On" Hamachi, it will display the name of the user account present and your IP address. This is essential to use Open Canvas(only your IP address).
Powered On Hamachi (Click to Show)
Now you may have noticed, mine looks different from yours. This is ok, it's only because that I've already joined a couple of networks.
Besides that, you have now finished the Hamachi part(for now).
---------------------
Open Canvas Part I
Moving on to Open Canvas( it's alot more simplier than getting Hamachi).
Open Canvas has multiple verisons like photoshop. Going from version 1.0 to 6.04(I believe). It's still being updated and the newest version 6.04 came out very recently. Although only
version 1.1 is free to use. You can download it by going to the page below
http://wistinga.online.fr/opencanvas/
Download Open Canvas and then Open it. ( it may come in a zip file and you have to extract it, i forgot lol)
Note-You may have a confirm window pop up saying windows cannot verify the security of this program, press the designated confirmation button and continue on.
Open Canvas (Click to Show)
Upon opening, you can see it has a very simple, user friendly interface with few tools. Although it looks disappointing, it's surprisingly efficient for drawing with people. It has a built in chat system and layer tab. Along with quite a few other useful things for collaborative projects as well as drawing solo.
You have now finished the main Open Canvas Part(for now lol).
---------------
Hamachi Part II
There are two things you can do with Hamachi now. You can either create your own network, or join somebody else's network.
To create your own network, press the "Network" tab and then choose "create a new network."
This will require you to choose a Network ID or username and password, which you will have to type again to confirm.
Note-You have to create a unique username or it will ask you to choose another one.
After you've created your network. You'll see it pop up under the section that displays the powerbutton, your IP and Computer User name.
Networking (Click to Show)
On the main bar, it has the name of the network and a small fraction to the right. This is important. At first it will only say "1/5", but as people join, it will increase.
You can have a maximum of 5 people on your network.
Once you've created your Network, people can join it on Hamachi. For them to join, or if you want to join another network, you go to the "Network" tab again and this time choose
"join an existing network." Once you've clicked this you put in the Network ID of the server you want to join and the password(ask the host for the network info).
Now, once somebody has joined your network, you'll see their name pop up under your network. The computer count will also rise, going from 1/5 to 2/5(it includes you, so techincally you can only have a maximum of 4 other people.
------------------------
Open Canvas Part II
Go back to Open Canvas now. Once you have, go the the "Network" tab in the heading section. Then, click on "show network window." A pop up will appear that should look like this
Open Canvas Network (Click to Show)
If you are hosting a network and people joined your network on Hamachi,or if you want to join somebody else's network after joining it on Hamachi, then for them or you to join on Open Canvas they have to do these things;
1.) go the the Client box and type in YOUR(or the host's) IP address. Your IP address is the one shown on your Hamachi that you can see here [Clickable Link]
2.)make a username for yourself, this username can be ANYTHING, there are no restrictions. It's best to put the name your peers know you by though(for easy recognition)
3.)enter in the password for the Hamachi network they or you are hosting(same password needed to join the network on hamachi)
4.) Click the button thats not in English, that can be seen here [Clickable Link]
----
You're done, you have now joined their network and your Open Canvas username should appear in a chatbox. You'll see the host (or see people join)there to and you can chat with them through Open Canvas chat box.
Note-Do not start drawing until EVERYBODY that was intended to join has joined on Open Canvas
Once everybody has joined, you can start drawing
-------------------
Other Side
If you're HOSTING a network, then you're going to have to do a couple of things to maximize open canvas's efficiency
first, go to the "Network" tab again and the "show network window." Then go to the "Network Preferences" tab and (preferably) set the width to "3000" and the height to "2000" and set max members to 4( the highest allowed) as shown here [Clickable Link]
Then you go to the "Server" tab, put in the password for your network, and press "Stand By."(you can change your username from "HOST" to something else, but it's better to leave it as host so people know its you).
Anyways people can now join your network and once everybody is in, you can start drawing together!
------End-----------
***Extra Notes(Tips)
It's good for people to pick a different color and make note of which color belongs to who
It's also good for people to go to their own segment of the drawing canvas(which is why I said make it big earlier in the tutorial)
Shoot me a PM if you dont understand anything or reply b3low
---------------------
Now Go Draw!
