For all of you lazy readers, I present to you a TooLong;Didn't Read copy: Strike and his family was a servant of BlackWatch, a large faction, for 5 years. They notice that BlackWatch is evil so they escape into the Raitera Forest, which is a forest obviously, in the process of escaping, they stole a failed prototype which is the E-Bat, and in the forest they lived happily for months, until the fucking BlackWatch became assholes and slaughtered the family because the family knows too much about BlackWatch, Strike's dad gives Strike the bat and tells him to run away, which he does as followed, then he runs to the Raitera Valley, which is a valley filled with storms striking down day and night.
Strike cried there for a while until he continued running inside the valley, then this weird man-mage-beast-mysterious thing came and struck Strike and his bat with a special kind of lightning (created by the man), Strike wakes up after days of sleeping then when he goes back to his home, he finds his parents are already burned to ashes. So Strike swore that he'll take revenge to the man responsible for their death. He now ventures through the lands to find rice grains, which gives him power for each rice grain, then as he finds rice grains, he makes different kinds of friends and rivalries, which made him learn how to be happy and friendly around everybody. As he searches for rice, he, at the same time, searches for allies that might help him defeat the boss of BlackWatch.

Chapter 1: The Introduction.

Strike and his family used to be servants of this large faction called the BlackWatch for 5 years, this massive land was located in the North West, A metal and silver steampunk industry of weapon creation and all other sorts of evil used items, large metal plated walls around the factory was their defense, it is made of extremely hard steel. This, this is was what the family called home. Or at least what they used to call it.
BlackWatch conquered the land long ago and built this factory taking up the most of the island's space, cleaning it from the living, meaning that it's a massacre island, the soil outside of the factory walls was blood stained, making it look like red soil. The many survivors we're taken as slaves and was forced to work for BlackWatch until their hearts could never beat again.
The original goal of his family was not to serve the faction, but it was due to their goal for wanting money and a better life for Strike. The reason why his family is glued so much to BlackWatch is because of their handler, who remains unknown to this day, who has promised them one thing and one thing only, and that promise was a good life and money.
Because of this lie, the parents became too naive and followed the steps of BlackWatch, each time they questioned the ways of BlackWatch, the high ranked soldiers always punished them through whips and chains. So they never did.

Chapter 2: The Realization.

But until one day, while the family was working they heard rumors of their true intentions. The family didn't believe this because they thought BlackWatch was a faction striving for peace and their ways was just too harsh, but this all changed until their handler commanded the whole family to take a road trip to "clean things up after them".
Because of their terrifying strength, they kept their lips shut and followed as ordered. They hopped on the back of a very armored and spacy army vehicle. The truck drove to a very far small town, far away from the factory. They were surprised to see what they saw waiting for them, dead bodies and the smell of death and rotten corpses was found.
At first the family thought it was all just the evil people who tried to fight BlackWatch but while helping dispose of the bodies, the parents found a survivor, blood all over his hands and face, with an arrow deep inside his liver. His last breathing words were the ones who opened Strike's family's eyes. His last words were "Fear... the.. BlackWatch... they killed us.... all" His last stuttering words were followed by choking, he choked by his own mouth filled blood.

After hearing this, they've finally connected the pieces together, it all made sense to them. The rumors were right about BlackWatch.
After cleaning and burning all the bodies they were taken back to the military vehicle. Still haunted by the survivors last words, Strike's parents finally realized that BlackWatch's real intentions were no close to good. So before the vehicle started Strike's dad knocked out the guard next to him with only one swing to the skull. *Good thing they only brought one guard with them, how careless.* His dad thought as he saw the saw what the guard was holding, an electronic modified bat was strapped to the back of the soldier. Whatever it could do, he thought it was useful since it came from BlackWatch. After that they ran off before the driver and co driver could get out of the vehicle.

Chapter 3: New places, New lifeless bodies.

They ran for weeks until they reached a place called the Raitera Forest. A forest large enough to hide in, thats all what the family was thinking. And so they went deep into the forest and lived their life there instead.
They were happy, they had an uncountable number of lumber and crops. They lived a better life than the life as a servant. Strike used the modified bat and played around, playing baseball with a wooden ball. His dad didn't stop him from using it since it seemed like a failed prototype, while they were in the forest, they thought that they should teach their son the ways of surviving and protecting yourself with the use of the bat. His parents were smart in knowledge and actions but was not smart in seeing the evil and the fake masks the enemies wore on their face. They thought that this life will last a while, and they thought this would make their son happy. But meanwhile at the BlackWatch headquarters.
The high positioned men are arguing over the escaped fugitives. They've never had one yet, and that they are serious threats and they could tell anybody else about their technology and advanced weaponry, and plus they have stole one of the most valuable prototype of BlackWatch which isn't complete just yet, the modifiedBat.
So they searched the lands around the BlackWatch territory, they kept searching and after a couple of months of searching, one of their scouts found faint signs of life through campfire smoke in the eye of the forest of Raitera.

They set an army to execute the family for they have seen and know too much about the faction. While the family was having a good time, it was suddenly stopped by the sounds of other people, they knew that they have been found so they gave Strike his trusty bat and told him to run away from the sounds of screaming no matter what, and that he shouldn't look back.
Strike, Even though he is very confused and curious, he still followed his parent's, what will be, their last wish. After an hour of running he heard screams and shouts
Only then Strike noticed what he was running from, but it was already too late if he charged back to help, so he followed his parent's command instead with tears running down his cheeks like a river flowing, then after hours and hours of running and hearing gunshots and futuristic weaponry. Strike still kept on running while covering his ears like a kid, he didn't want to hear all the torturing and haunting sounds.

Chapter 4: Strike's New Prowess.

Until he finally reached the end of the forest, which was called the Raitera Valley, thunderstorms roared each second, echoing through the valley. Dark gray clouds covered the whole sky on this valley, he dropped to the ground and cried while shouting two sentences over and over to the heavens.
Why did they die and that he wished that it was him instead. His screams couldn't be heard due to the constant loud thunder overpowering the man's shouting. He pounds the dirt as hard as he can, again and again until blood was dripping from his knuckles.
He sheds his last tear, stands up and wipes the dried water of his face, straps on his bat to his back, then continues running, going through the valley of thunderstorms.
His mind was blocked from all the things that just happened too quickly for him, then he somehow heard a thud behind him, as he turned he caught a glimpse of a man wearing rugged and teared pants and shirt, his hair was long and it was floating like the gravity is going upwards whilst his face was hidden due to the fog surrounding him. He stretches his arms wide with shoulders down he looks up to the sky, then before Strike saw anymore of his weirdness, the last thing he could remember was a loud roar and a yellow flash striking down from the clouds.

After what seemed to be days, Strike found himself inside the Raitera Forest once again, but he was win a very well hidden cave at the side. He sits up straight and grabs the bat beside him, which he now noticed it's difference. It has an orange rectangle at the side of the bat, and he seems to be more linked to the bat. It was like he feels the bat's presence.

He stood up to see footsteps of the unknown man that was stuck on the stone ground, *It seems like I was dragged here by the unknown man.* then it all suddenly came back to him on what happened, he ran outside the cave while his footsteps echoed through the cave. Strike raises his arms up as the sun's rays hits his face. He then runs towards where his family's house is located, but what was shown wasn't pleasing for Strike, he walked over to his parent's burnt corpses, Strike kneeled down to touch the ashes, then as the breeze blows, the ashes slowly fade away. Until no gray dirt was left, the only thing left around his was a broken house and raided crops.
Strike once more wiping his tears sweared to his family that he will avenge them and slaughter the man responsible for his parent's death.

He then remembered the rumors he heard that there was this rice grains scattered all over the west and this rice grains contain the power to give anyone who posseses them shall be granted with power.

And so, Strike ventured around the whole west to find and gather the most rice he could collect. And through his long epic journey, he has made many friends and rivals and has learned many things. Through all these, he has learned to be happy and friendly around friends and loved ones. Trying to gain many companions that may help him to eliminate the boss of BlackWatch.
