Those were hardly minor spams tho. I mean, the nerd comment was in correspondence to a picture MX also said in the same comment. And the name thing was an answer to a question, where someone asked who a person was. I mean, it wasn't spam because these were addressing things. If he added one more word, then it wouldn't be spam? I mean that's a useless definition then. So if Drone said, "That's Exortine" instead of just "Exortine", it wouldn't be spam? Adding one word shouldn't dictate whether or not it's spam, knawwhaddImean? I understand the rules, but they should come with reason too.

Of course, useless comments such as hi are definitely spam. They're useless. But spam has a clear line, and things like answering questions are weird to be deemed as spam. I actually agree with Externus on this one...if only because this exact behavior has always been happening in every clan thread ever. It's weird that you'd have only noticed this particular offense in this particular clan because what, this clan is different and popular and Externus has recently earned our ire recently? Holding that bias aside, if we are going to crackdown on posts like this, then all the other clan's "useless" posting should be taken into consideration as well.

I mean why do you think those other SP Users have a thousand posts without so much as hanging out in general? RHGs? Pls. Talking in the clan threads has always been a thing and I was the only one close to policing it (and only infracting when it got real bad, like that time a pair of kids raced to the 50th post in the span of 1 hour). Compared to those clans, this one means nothing. If anything, they don't even receive half the "spaminess" as when CaM/Pin/Terk made their clans, and yet those clans were never persecuted.

To be clear, the definition of minor spam is when some random randy decides to post here for no reason. Like "lol" or ":D". And even if it was still in response to something it would still be spam (because the response is more of a catch-all instead of a specific response). But for cases where answering something really only needs one word; it's not essentially spam as much as it is a single-worded reply.
