I recomend animating for a while before getting flash.
If you want a career in animation, and you're good at animating, you should get flash. If you're good, the program tends to pay for itself.

Would you say that skilled EZ tooners have a good chance at being skilled in Flash too since the programs are pretty much the same?

Pivot section isnt deserted , its just overcrowded with noobs. And most of the good animators left , only a couple of goodies stayed (Demi , Power_fuse0 , Ghostface (occasionally) zombpiv as well from time to time. Some of you *looks at Grubber* need to read the 10 commandments of this section.

Edit: Cherrybomb , from my experience , easytoon is way simpler , with flash its really complicated , only thing is the drawing part that could help from EZT.

well, not having any first hand experiance with flash, im guessing yes.
