Somehow I get the impression Mike would post in the SE chat thread if Mike wanted to actually chat.

Show me what you mean with some information.

Stick Empires is awesome! No I don't agree with multiple accounts of a same user either.

I don't think you understand me.

Off topic is a thing when the posts are not related to the thread they are in. Your post is related very much to things we've said in the chat thread but posting it here is offtopic, posting it in the chat thread would make it on topic.

You got a deal with this thread and the in game chat ban system in effect thread. No more posts for these two threads. By the way, my last sentence, I am a part of the community.

Ok we get it, but please stop repeating your posts. First it was "I want to be a chat admin", now it's "I'm a part of the community".

Just for some background info I set up a ban counter on our spreadsheet to track how many bans have been given out that were documented. Keep in mind this ignores next to all alting used to dodge bans because we don't waste our time listing every single account used for dodging.

Also keep in mind that for the last 2+ months only myself and Ase have been using the spreadsheet to track bans, and I cannot possibly know if Ase uses the spreadsheet for every ban he gives out.
I do.

Also keep in mind that myself and Ase do not make up all the banning that mods hand out in any particular day, so all these values will be drastically lower than the real values in practise.

As you can see, while over 400 different accounts have been banned, most of which were probably different people, our ban rates are quite low, at only 4.5 bans a day.

Admittedly this might even be half of the real value considering other admins that don't track their bans anymore, but it's some interesting data nonetheless. So no, we do not abuse our power, and we do not ban everyone on sight.
(Or at least anyone who does doesn't track it on the spreadsheet)

I've been using the spreadsheet. I can't be bothered logging my name.

Ah yes, so it seems you have. The name logs were filled with just me and Ase so I thought that's all who were left using it.

I gotta hand it to ye, you both are very good at what you do. The leaders have picked you both well as well as others.

I haven't been using the list recently because I find it a waste of time as when I come back there are double the amount of spammers from where it was before. I can try again, I mean it's no big deal, I just feel like it wastes time. But I probably should be using it so I will go back to adding the people I ban.

Although this was done in (hopefully) good taste, can you actually go make some non-mod related posts.
