Quote from SawcYou obviously have never taken an astronomy class above the second grade.
Not nessecary. National Geographic is enough xD
A black hole is formed by a failed star, which literally implodes in itself forming a smaller, dark ball with so much gravity that it can even suck in light.
Again, not nessecary. Sometimes they explode, crushing all the planets withing their range and creating a new solar system (all the dust and particles coming together again and stuff).
You're mistaking them with wormholes, which don't actually exist aside from in the movies.
Well there is a possibilty that they exist, just that they dissappear as fast as they appear.
But you're right about one thing, there will never be a black hole in our solar system until the sun dies, and maybe even not then (they don't all turn into them).
Bold stuff... blablabla15char

Yes, yes it is. All black holes are formed by imploded stars, don't try to argue that (because your argument didn't even apply).

Sorry. I thought you meant that all stars become black holes. You were right xP

I gotcha.

Quote from Big BangWhat the **** do the magnetic poles have to do with UV radiation. The earth isn't surrounded by a magnetic field, it's surrounded by something called the ozone field (WHICH BLOCKS UV RADIATION), and the earth itself is the magnet.
Actually the earth is surrounded by a magnetic field. Which also helps deflect and break down Electromagnetic Radiation. Hence we get pretty things like the northern/southern lights. Which is radiation hitting the magnetic field around the earth.
If there was a polar shift, it could take the form of a physical one or a purely magnetic one.
If the shift was physical the entire molten core will slide around underneath the crust causing massive fissures/earthquakes/volcanoes etc. Then with the hole changing of the poles, would stop all electrical production as the field is reversed.

Oh, I thought you meant dead stars.
Yeah, failed stars black-holeify.
