They're examples and I don't know. Its what they like and I don't bother.
Honestly, I read more manga than I watch anime but they both have their ups and downs.

It depends for me.. Usually if the anime is very well budgeted and made by a reputable studio I might prefer the anime. I always pick the manga over the anime when it's drama, romance or slice of life genre though.. Manga just looks prettier and has a lot more packed into it than its anime counterpart
