I tried to recover my really old account here in stickpage:
I tried about 10-15 different re captcha codes, then I even tried the 'audio challange' a few times, however, my efforts were in vain. Every time it says: 'The string you entered for the image verification did not match what was displayed.'
P.S : I noticed that the 'audio challange' and the code on the image were different everytime.
Forgotten password's re captcha.

Old account. Wat.

Yes?
It was pretty old tho, maybe that's the problem? But I doubt it, since even if I try 'recovering my password' on this account it still says: 'The string you entered for the image verification did not match what was displayed.'

What account did you have before this one? Also, there's a chance you're just messing up the captcha code.

I am certain that I am not messing it up, I tried like 20 times. I am pretty confident in my skill to type 3-4 numbered code correctly.
I can't remember the name nor password, that's why I tried recovering it on the first place. It doesn't really matter since I didn't really used it .

If you can't remember the name, how are you even trying to get back the password, that doesn't make any sense

The recovery thing asks for your email address rather than your username.

His old account name is probably something like 1024B@+sh!tN$@ne|)ragun before it evolved into what you see today

It was 'dkgray' or something like that.
I think I found the problem. It seems that if you haven't logged in for over a year/or a couple of months it automatically deletes your account. However, this still doesn't explain why it says : 'The string you entered for the image verification did not match what was displayed.' rather than 'Account with such email adress does not exist' or in this case 'This account was not active for *time period* and has been automatically deleted' or something like that.
I WAS FORCED to use this stupid name in everything I register, Jesus, let is slide already!

Forced? Didn't you go an a tiny rant about where your name came from? That meant you actually thought about it and purposely named it that way. Also, I thought you were fine with the name jokes. How come you only seem to get pissed when I make them?
About your problem. Maybe it's just how errors are handled in Vbull. It attempts to look for the account associated with your captcha but since no such error exists of a missing account, it's displaying the default error instead.

I saw Azure Kite--a mod---post. So I assumed he already did an IP Check in advance. I mean really, if a mod can find the username, they really can. But they can't. So his username no longer probably exists. So I have offered possible reasons as to why that happens.

I don't really mind the name jokes, but I am not particularly fine with them either.
About the captcha problem, running CCleaner solved the problem (it was probably the cache making the problem). Thanks for the answers.

I'm sorry but I think your account has been deleted. It happens and I know because it happened to my previous account. What year was this old account registered?

Ye, that's my guess aswell. About 2009/10 when I first started animating, but I am not sure. I only remember that when I registered Terkoiz was still pretty active in RHG.
