I honestly dont think that the money they get for getting sponsored or for winning contests are actually worth it. But I've never gotten paid around here so what do I know

Resh animated for a week got furst place and won $1000, that's a pretty good haul if you ask me for something he did in his free time

I saw that the poll says SOME animators so I'm gonna say no.

I think a rather large portion of people (atleast myself) got into stick animation as a hobby. It's still fun just time consuming.

I animate because I think it's fun. If I earn money, that's great, if I don't, oh well. I'm trying to be a chef, so that's where I want my income to come in from.

I think there's a bit of everything.. Though I think a big chunk of people do both. They like doing animation because it's pretty fun, but they wanna be known and famous for it as well. You can usually tell when someone's doing it for fame when they self advertise all the time and act super arrogant and pretend like they're the shit though lol

I'd like to actually further pursue animation and be part of the animation industries in the future.

For me it's a yes and a no.
When I was a kid I always loved seeing stick fights and all that good stuff so that's why i wanted to be a stick animator. Having fame wouldn't be bad too but it's more of a hobby for me
