Hi, my name is Ryan, and I'm an animator. I'm 13 years old. I first found out about animation back in grade four, through an educational animation program called Frames. I've been animating for recreation using Macromedia for about two months now. Hope to get to animate with, against and for you guys!

Hello Scan! Nice to meet you. To begin, here are the Site Rules. The list isn't too long, and it shouldn't take you more then 5 min to look over. It helps to learn them quickly, because breaking the rules will earn you a warning, followed by an infraction for repeated offenses. Building up too many infractions leads to a temporary ban, in which you'll be unable to do anything on the site, and nobody wants that.

As you know, this is a primarily Stick Animation site, but that should in no way discourage you from animating whatever you like! This area is where Full Length animations, Projects/Collabs, Writing, Art, and Original Music and Games go. For Rock Hard Gladiators, AKA RHG, the site's stick battling system, check this out. And if you're looking for some tutorials to help you better your skills, this section is for you.

I'm Azure Kite, one of the Sectional Moderators on the site (hence the green name). We're the people who help keep things in order and clean up things. Each Sectional Mod looks after sections, which you can see our names under. Global Mods (who have pink names) are able to help out anywhere all over the site. Admins have light blue names, and keep the site running. So if you have any concerns, look to us or your fellow users!

Thanks! I just have a question. If I want to acknowledge someones response just by saying something like thanks, would it count as minor spam?

As a general rule of thumb, we ask that members try not to post one word responses, or images by themselves. However, since the initial reason the rule was set into place has gone down considerably, we've taken a more lax stance on the matter. That isn't to say we'll just ignore it if you only use one word/image posts, but if they get the message across and are used infrequently, then it shouldn't be that big an issue.
