So I saw this done on a youtube tutorial a while back, where the guy would make a movie clip, animate within the movie clip, and then be able to see the clip play out a he scrolled through the timeline. I'm assuming this might be a plugin or feature I have yet to find in flash. Anyone care to help?

I have CS6.
Edit: Nvm, I'm too high speed. If anyone else is having the same problem and wants to know the solution, you cannot use a movie clip, it has to be a graphic. A graphic will sync and play with the main timeline, a movie clip will only render when the animation is compiled.
