Yes, this question must go everywhere where there's gamers. I would've put this in the debate section, but i didn't think this would be an "intellectual" enough topic and i didn't want to get infracted if it wasn't. This is to argue over which is better. Xbox One or PS4? You can only give actual legitimate arguments that you actually know. I don't want you to say something like "I choose xbox cuz ps4 sux lol." I want an actual debate about this on which one actually wins. I personally vote for PS4, because Sony has proven to improve their systems and games for a long time, so I trust that they will improve PS4 beyond xbox regardless on whether xbox surpasses them at the moment. Go!

Out of respect, I'll answer this one seriously.
I had to choose between the two, I'd choose PS4 only because it holds more promise than the Xbox One with future titles (ex. KHIII), which honestly at this point really isn't saying much.
But honestly? I really see no point in buying either now because neither really seem worth the money. Neither PS4 or the Xbone have any titles worth mentioning that'll make me fork over a couple of hundreds that I can't already get on the PC.
If we're talking about so-called "next gen consoles" in general, I honestly really enjoyed my purchase of the Wii U, it has plenty of good games now. It has games that have unique and multiplayer feels that can't be replicated as easily on the PC. For example, Smash Bros is pretty fun with friends and Super Mario World 3D is probably the most fun I've had with a multiplayer game in a long time, or with a game in general.
imo this topic is and always will be pretty silly considering that this topic can't really be "debated" so to speak. Everyone has there different preferences, buy what you want, play what you want. It's all subjective, and it's hard if not impossible to gauge which console is objectively better or worse.

Playstation still gives 2 shits about being about video games.
Whereas Microsoft wants to be a multimedia center in your living room with their always on kinect and shit. I'm not so paranoid to think they're spying on me, but that shit is dumb. And really when it comes to gaming, Sony is like the experiences veteran. Nintendo is kinda burnt out but still fun, maybe they're going to change things soon looking at Hyrule Warriors but I doubt it. And as I said before Xbox just wants to entertain you, not make gaming awesome. So even though Sony is really shitty at not being hacked, I'd go with them.
Although, this discussion is moot because Gabe rules all.

PS4 only because KH3 is going to be released on it. If not, I would probably buy neither. All the games released on them to date don't excite me in the slightest. I'll stick to PC where it's Christmas every couple of months.

I'd say that if there would be a battle between PS and XB, it would be cancelled because PC wins.
Maybe 15 years ago there was actually a big deal of difference between consoles and desktops, but now everything has changed.
Most games on earth can be played or at least emulated on a PC, which supports a joystick, Kinect, or whatever you wanna plug in.
If you want something new from gaming, get a Wii. Its the only console that actually introduces somethin new even today.

You know the PC wasn't always the masterrace. One time, consoles were cheaper, better, more enjoyable, and backwards compatible. Nothing has changed much tbh

Eh, I don't PC game anymore, I mostly just play handhelds and some Nintendo games. Most of the home console Nintendo games I play aren't even single player, so there's that.

Eh, that's up for debate. The PC gaming days were still flourishing in the 90's. A lot of my first and best early experiences was on an old desktop at my Dads machinist shop. Mechwarrior, All the Humongous Entertainment games, Myst, Duke Nukem, etc. Consoles just get more recognition because it was the first entertainment system that had started as a massive thing in some arcade down the street to your living room whereas PC's had already been around for awhile but we're still mostly used for business related things. No one was talking graphics cards or 3-D modelling, they were talking about how many friggin phone numbers a hard drive could hold haha.

Another thing, Hewitt, PCs are not built for gaming. Most of the people who buy PCs dont even plan to play games on them. PCs have the shit for games and business. They may have not 15 years ago, as i already said, but now they surpass consoles.
And if there's one thing that technology strives to achieve, then that's universality. People would rather pay 500 bucks for a laptop to play WoW and write essays than pay 300 for a console and another 200 for a cheapass tablet to write word files.

That's essentially what I mean. Nevermind that the PC had good shit too, just that it wasn't known to be capable of anything further just because consoles were known to be better.

PC any day of the week. I don't belive you can get a 'actual' debate with ' legitimate' arguments out of this question, however, try at your own risk. If you are still up for this when I come back home, I'll give you some 'arguments' why ps is better than xbox
I believe this should be a poll.
