When ever I click a link that is posted on fileize it doesn't work. Almost all the images and animations are posted using fileize and i cannot see any of them. Please help. Btw i accidentally made 2 of these, please ignore or delete the other one :)

I really hate to be the bringer of bad news, but that's actually fairly old news. I forget the full story, but I believe it's Jeff's project on his own, but it ended up getting too big for him to handle and which eventually became more than he could afford. Again, I think. There was an announcement about it a while back, but I can't seem to dig it up.

I've heard the stash on DeviantArt it a good alternative, as well as imgur, which I personally use when I need to use an image for something.

^That's true.

Here's the furthest post I could find regarding to Jeff's announcement of Fileize clean-up (it's on the stickied Fileize thread by the way ^^). I said furthest because I'm also sure there must be another post by Jeff that was as important as that which directed to the discouragement of Fileize usage, and apparently I have to agree with it. The clean-up was executed in around this year's April/May so any files prior the month was totally deleted and it was rather hard to provide back-ups to ALL the files, except when you already asked Jeff to do it for you.

Armed_hobo, I suggest you to reload the page if the file was uploaded after April/May this year (it won't work otherwise) until it hopefully shows up, though it might take any reloads to be done depending on your luck there. For future reference, use imgur that Crank already linked there/Lightshot if you want to upload any image, and sta.sh (you must have a deviantART account in order to use this one) or fastSWF for uploading animations.

Well, at least now you know the other better alternatives (also SwfCabin as a mere minor addition other than the two I already mentioned above).
Not that I really despise Fileize though, you can continue use it - yet with your own risk, I'm afraid.

I don't really think that Jeff was the only site owner. You see, he mentioned "GoDaddy" twice from the linked post so I assume that guy also managed Fileize too back on its golden era. If there is somebody who knows more than me, I'd love to know the truth as well. XD

Hell, I think even this Fileize thingy needs a bit recognition to be arranged for that SPP History thread, lmao.
