wing massing seems to be extremely absurd against elementals they drain lots of health even if a cycloid is shielded. the shield be able to compensate for this no?

I think CHfire should handle it until the opponent gets to 5+ wings. Usually they go for turrets, then wings, but spellcaster soon after. That way they don't havee thatthat many wings. This is what I think you should do:
Hold tower, build up fires
Keep constant pressure on their eco and wings, make sure the towers are down.
Get ts1.

Chaos as it is is balanced in the other matchups. The best thing to do would be to rebalance ele so it isn't shit.

EDIT: One nerf I heard Wyz suggest was make stone face researchable and have Venom Flux be the initial spell. It fits better thematically and it is a lot better for deathmatch balance. (DM is a bad gamemode though, and I feel the game should be balanced for classic first and foremost.)

Ele can beat wings, and it isn't shit. It isn't so unbalanced to the point of needing an elemental empire 2.0.

OvO is balanced, CvC is balanced, yet EvE is lottery.
CvO is balanced, I guess OvE is somewhat balanced but it's very boring to play late game, and EvC is most definitely not balanced.

The key thing there is that all unbalanced modes include ele. Hence nerfing chaos is simply not the right way to deal with the problem, you'd unbalance CvO and maybe even CvC if you did that.

wings can be beaten. however the shield pretty much does nothing after 6 wings

if it can be beaten then why are you making a thread on how to beat wings

my way can vary if the opponent stalls out. its not guaranteed and is not always effective but it works with me if im careful

Well, hashy said it needs an entire 're modeling, and you said a "complete cost rebalance" Combined that's pretty much an ele 2.0. Wings aren't impossible to beat, I've beaten wing users using CHfire and pressure.
