I bought a gold membership about 30 mins ago and received the 1,000 coins, but I cannot yet buy gear for or play as the other two empires. Is this just a long delay, or is it some kind of other problem?

In retrospect, I was just antsy lol. It took a whole 90 mins, but i did eventually get the 300 coins and other empires.
